Good one Shelvin! TJ

I agree with you Amanda on that. There was a time when I had several heards in an area I hunted and I would stop hunting a certain herd if I thought to many were taken from it. I also would not let my friends hunt them herds either or they were 86'ed from my camp. I'm hoping this goes thru. TJ

Good luck this year Shane. Can't wait to see more of the big ones. TJ

Same exact thing happened to me. I can't keep them in my quiver after a day of walking thru the woods. Very frustrating to say the least. Any time you have a moving part or parts something will go wrong sooner or later. This is the reson I traded my drop-away for a biscut. However, I did like the job the swacker did for me, last year, and I will probably use them again this year since I mostly blind hunt 75% of the time. TJ

Thats a good way to judge a quality deer also Tj for throwing a tag on. I shot mine in the neck last november at 504 with an ultramag, and we definelty got every piece of meat off that deer. Freezer was full along with a spring county fair beef. I also helped a buddy of mine mix javelina sauage this march with your write up Tj good stuff man really enjoyed it. You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. I can't get enough of javelina sausage. My neighbors beat me up over it. 504 yds is one heck of a good shot. TJ

So what's the best way to judge a good buck? Well, I first look to see if the ribs are showing. If they ain't then I look to see how much them hams are filled out. Not much meat on these little things so very carefully see how tight the skin looks. The more meat the more you won't see a winkle in the hide. BANG! Almost forgot they have antlers. TJ

That's absolutely true. I have buddies who hunt hard and haven't ever seen a lion and my wife has seen 4 in her life time. All of hers have been on the road. Go figure! TJ

Jamaro, thanks for sharing that video with us. I've yet to video or carture one on any of my trail cams. I have been fortunate to have seen 13 mt lions. I would say it wasn't because I know how to find them but just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. I'm lucky to have taken 3 without the help of guides or dogs. Two were taken out of my doublebull blind with one being face to face at 8 yards. Thanks again for sharing another one of your experiences. TJ

I'm not sure how I missed this post without replying. That had to be the greatest feeling of accomplishment pulling that off with your daughter sitting beside you. Congratulations on your bear and thanks for posting. Can't wait to see your daughter start posting some of her hunts with us. TJ

This is the cadillac of flyfishing pontoons. My friend decided a few years ago to get into flyfishing and she went all out. She bought this boat from Arizona Flyfishing when they were in business on baseline rd in Tempe. She paid well over $500 and this has only been in the water a couple of times. I would give it a 99% condition rating. It comes with oars, fins,(the fins are the cheaper version) and a good lifejacket. This pontoon is equiped with an anchor system and a motor mount braket. Go to www.caddisflyshop.com and look what this Outcast Discovery 8' is going for now. $899.00 This also has a brand new Launching Gear attached. This is really a great option that will save your back and make your day more enjoyable while on the water. Go to www.tackletour.com to view the launching gear. This runs around $129.00 This would cost you $1028 plus tax if you were to buy it today. If I didn't already have one I wouldn't be posting. It can be seen at my house if interested. This won't last! 480-833-1230 This wheel stays attached to the boat. anchor & motor mount
