I called the Tonto National Forest 2 days ago and they said there were no closures. I asked about the Control rd and they told me no closures north of the control rd. I called so I wasn't making a wasted trip hanging trail cams. TJ

I couldn't imagine having a family going without ac in this heat for any length of time. Just the right thing to do. TJ

Now that I'm retired and a total wreck in terms of being in any kind of shape I'm heading for a nearby gym tomorrow morning. My Medicare says I have a Silversneaker plan benefit where it will pay for a membership. If I am to continue to do the things I love I better get my fat butt in gear or my hunting and fishing days are about over. Thanks for motivating me Mr. Healy. TJ

If for some reason during the night it goes out again call us. We have a spare bedroom with double beds and a 5th wheel with a good ac Brian. TJ

I have a younger brother who has just taken full custody of his three grand kids. Twin girls of 7 years and my nephew of 10 years of age. They have never fished and this will be their first fishing trip. Heading for Big Lake a few days before Memorial Day. I"m staying for 11 days but while the kids are there I will be concentrating on trying to teach them to catch some trout. I know a boat is better but it's going to be shore fishing this trip. Just wondering what would be the best bait to use. Most of my fishing has been fly fishing and it's just been to long since I fished from the shore. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Good luck on the new unit Richie. I will say I am impressed with all the hard work you have been putting in to where ever you draw. You definitely have done your homework, foot work, and time spent like no other I know. If anyone wants to share any experience/advise with Richie I can assure you he is not your typical E-scouter.
