    Stumpy

Finally we get to read the story and boy is it a good one. I felt like I was right there with you Deb. I've read alot of hunts on cwt and this has got to top them all. Many thanks to Lance and all his guys that makes Timberland Outfitters what they are. You guys are a first class act. I knew this post was coming sooner or later and I have been like a kid at Christmas waiting for it. Thanks Debbie and thanks for sharing it with us. What a beautiful antelope. Oh yea, CONGRATULATION! That's a great picture Brian. Congratulations on a very nice bull. Thanks for sharing. TJ
  4. m77, I think it's great that you keep trying to come up with a solution to the problem you think everyone is having but respectfully so you aren't going to. I see you are 55 yrs old so I assume you haven't been in az very long or you just took up hunting not to long ago. The reason I say this is there was a time when you had to be 1/4 mile from an azgfd water catch but that got changed some time back so throw that game solving idea out the window. You are mistaken when you say everyone is having confrontations over treestands and ground blind disputes. I know lots of hunters, including myself, who have hardly ever been in or seen a confrontation. JLW's statement " so how you handle yourself says alot about you" is a good statement to remember when someone is in your treestand or ground blind. Let me pass on what I've learned over the years from experience. First come first serve might not be perfect in all situations but it's as good as it's going to get. Many of the hunters who have disputes/confrontations usually bring it on themselves thru their knee jurk reaction to someone beating them to a spot. A handshake and introduction usually is all that's needed to avoid this. It won't work 100% of the time, because there are stupid people , but it has worked pretty good for me over the years. TJ

    Sons first buck

Congratulations to your son on his first buck but this isn't going to fly. His first shot ever at a buck and you don't tell the whole story? I would like to hear your son get on here and tell his version of his hunt. He had to be more than excited. That is an awesome first time buck for sure. Thanks for sharing and I suggest your son become a member. I still would like to hear the story. TJ
