Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. Here's how I spent my birthday. Got a call from the neighbor, who is watching over my house in Mesa, and he informed me there is blood and water running out of my back porch freezer. So the next morning on my birthday I tell Peg I need to drive home and see what's up. Sure enough my freezer has gone out and I loose all my game meat 150lbs. Buffalo, antelope, deer, dove, and everything else. A few heads I had in there were partially cold so I put them in a friends freezer for now. Cleaned up the mess and headed back to Tonto to help with the damage the Sat & Sun's storms caused in our trailer park. Other than that it was a birthday to remember. I had a cold beer waiting on me at the end of the day with an elk & deer tag and another day above ground so what is there to complain about. TJ

This is a really good deal. This won't last long. I have the same model and year. Good luck Casey but you won't need it at this price. TJ

Used inverter EU3000 generator for sale. Asking $1200! Weighing in at 131lbs has taken a toll on the wife and I. We decided we needed to cut down on the weight so we settled on the new EU3000 which only weighs 78lbs and it's on wheels. Much more manageable for old folks. I don't sell anything unless I know it's in good working order so I took this generator to APD Power Center, where I bought it, and had them go thru it and make sure everything was working like it should. I picked it up today. They replaced a new starter and serviced it, Brand new battery for the electric start, which I'm really going to miss, since the new one is a pull start. Another thing I will miss is the run time. 20 plus hours on 3.6 gals of gas on the old one compared to 7.7 hours of run time on 1.6 gals of gas on the new one. Still not sure I'm going to like refueling more often. I just put $600 in this, I have receipts, and just might keep it and sell the new one. It runs like new. Thanks for looking. TJ

Powder Vs. Pellets
tjhunt2 replied to Alpinebullwinkle's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
If you want to limit mistakes and optimize your chances then you need to stick with pellets. TJ -
I have to agree with everyone else on the mule deer side. If it was a coues then you better have your butt out there every chance you get and know his exact location come hunting season and don't tell no one. TJ

I'm mostly an archery hunter and have heard so much lately on this 6.5. I was impressed with the videos here. My wife injured her shoulder really bad a couple years ago and she is afraid to shoot a rifle now. She is afraid she will dislocate her shoulder again. What do you think about her shooting a 25.06 on this year's cow elk hunt. How does it compare to the 6.5? Her shot will be 75yrds from a blind hopefully. Thanks for your input.. TJ

Mt Ore 1983 I believe, Both these deer were shot just days apart. Back when you could have 2 tags if there were lift-overs. TJ
