Well said Flatlander and I couldn't agree more. I was introduced to cwt back in 07 by Gamehauler and I will ever be greatful to him for that. I won't go all mushy on Amanda but she has put together the best hunt web site as far as I'm concerned. I too am amazed at the caliber of hunters, and I mean serious hunters, that are here and willing to share information with each other. That is what makes this site what it is. I have made so many friends, which I've had the pleasure of hunting with a few, and look forward to meeting many more members in the near future. I usually start and end each day here anticipating more new stories and pics. My hat is off to everyone who makes this site absolutely the best. TJ

I feel like it's x-mas here at the Joiner's house. I've been on here all morning deleting things I didn't even know what I was deleting. I just hope the wife can still pay bills and play her games but the most important thing is I got complete access to cwt again. Back in business. I haven't a clue as to what I changed. Maybe I should go in the computer business. Thanks again for all your help and suggestions. TJ

Stephen, I did not know you were a computer wizard. I tried it and it worked. Thanks my friend. Tj PS......look out computer world. Lmao

Yeah raghorn, Amanda tried all that with me. I know it's something I did on my computer. I got my phone so it's been good practice for me. Lol My wife and I would like to thank you again for the sod. It almost covered the whole back hard. It looks great. Getting out of bed was a little rough this morning. The hillbilly I am, I used a propane bottle for my roller yesterday. TJ

tjhunt2 replied to C.O.U.E.S.'s topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Thanks for sharing that great writeup. Made me feel like I was with you every step of the way. Having a brother that loves to hunt as much as you is a big plus. That's just awesome and so is that buck. Congratulations! TJ -
15 days without seeing a live pig must have been pretty frustrating. What was your method of hunting them? I'ld suggest glassing and using your butt more than your feet. If you are seeing a ton of sign then you are in the right area. They normally don't roam to far from day to day unless pressured. Glass the hillsides that get the first sunlight. They will most likely be there especially after a cold night. Pigs will have several beding grounds but only a couple favorites so once you locate them they can be found there on a regular bases. Here is something I figured out years ago. During the off season find them in a bedding ground and then spook them out. Follow their tracks and most likely they will lead you to their next bedding area. Good luck next year and I bet the outcome will be a different story. TJ

I'ld say you definitely have your hands full in that picture of you. So what's the story on how you killed them? Good looking hound by the way. Thanks for posting and welcome to CWT. TJ -
Congratulations on a very nice buck. Liked your story and the part about always hitting around the edges. Doesn't look like you hit around the edges on that buck. Thanks for sharing. TJ
