Sounds to me like you had somewhat of a good year. Are you kidding me? If only everyone could experience that much success in a year. Congratulations and I agree with lucky2hunt, great looking ground blind. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see what this year brings. TJ

I really enjoyed reading that write-up this morning. Kudos to you for working so hard getting the kids in position to catch those bass. I'm sure when they grow up they will return the favor Dad. This is what it's all about and the fishing Gods will reward you a thousand times over. I know now when I see you have posted it's going to be a good read with lots of pictures. Thanks a bunch for sharing. TJ

2013 Merriams Spring Turkey Hunt Pics
tjhunt2 replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Congratulations Jay and to all the successful hunters. Looks like it was a very successful hunt for a lot of you. My favorite picture is the turkeys hanging on the fence. Thanks for sharing. These pics have got me fired up for my turkey hunt. TJ -
March 14th Peg, Ilene aka Lucky2Hunt, and I hit Apache because Rosy was nothing but mud and here are a few of our bass. Three were caught on deep dive plugs and all the rest were caught on split shotting nightcrawlers. I fished Saguaro Friday the 22nd and landed 4 but I haven't taught my lab, Lexie, to use the camera yet. I witnessed two large females laying eggs while the males were doing their thing. I slowly backed out and gave them their space. The temp is just right on Saguaro and the spawn has been going on. Ilene caught two just like this one. Peg & Ilene with a few of their bass from Apache. The next day on the 15th Peg and a couple of her fish from Apache. Peg finally let me catch a couple of my own. Peg then tops the day off with a 7lb her biggest ever. Dad and I on Saguaro last Wednesday the 20th.

tjhunt2 replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
I had the pleasure of meeting Parker yesterday after he shot his bird and he had the biggest smile you could ever imagine. Darr was gleaming from ear to ear with Papa pride and for good reason. Congratulations again Parker and big kudos for Dad. Them are awesome pictures of Parker and you Darr. Thanks for sharing with us all here on cwt. TJ -
