Guess I still have a lot to learn about you dedicated trophy hunters. Hope you find the one you're after this year. I'll settle for the meat myself. Good luck on the draw and I hope you take the biggest one of your life. TJ

If anyone here is saying he would let this buck walk I'm crying BU!! SH!TT. There is no way once he's within bow range anyone would be so foolish unless you were on your own private property with neighbors 100 miles away. TJ

Ok here goes. Take the first picture and look how he is minus the top half of completing a full circle of 360deg. Now minus half of 360 for 180. We're almost there. Since he has 2 horns you must divide once again by 2 for a score of 90 and subtract his 2 kickers, I know that doesn't sound right but that's antelope math. His final score will be real close to 88 give or take an inch. Mass has nothing to do with score once the circle has been broken down. Pretty simple to me. SCORE = 88 TJ

I can't believe there aren't any members in the globe area that haven't at least volunteered to come over and look at it. These usually aren't hard to figure out. Tony's advise is all good. Come on guys what do you say? TJ

Thanks for sharing Auscar with us in a very deserving tribute to him. 15 years of love and devotion is just about all we can ask of our dogs. My condolences as well. TJ

I would just like to see one that big. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on a very nice buck. The mount job looks great. TJ

Thanks for sharing. Awesome! TJ

They both have their place but I've had more luck from ground blinds than tree stands. I'm always getting busted in a tree stand where I've had elk actually trying to poke their heads in my ground blind. Ground blinds are way more comfortable and your out of the wind, rain, and you can stand and stretch without be detected. TJ

Well, I've had more than one beer so I better measure the pattern tomorrow. Sounds like it might be the same as mine but I'm worried about the bigger size tire hitting the fender. Wish I had one to try. TJ

I just went out and looked at my quad trailer. I got st205/75r/15D. My wheels read 15x6.0. I wonder if they will fit my trailer? TJ

Very cool video. Well put together. Thanks for sharing. TJ -
Thanks for sharing Keith. I know the feeling quite well. I have also ran into people from cwt and the feeling is like you said, like meeting an old friend. Just something about CWT that brings out the good in people. TJ

Any other lucky 23N Early Archery Bull tag Holders here?
tjhunt2 replied to bonecollector777's topic in Elk Hunting
It's one of the better units for big bulls. But, like any unit, you will have to work hard and be patient to find the big bruisers. Some guy on one of the forums, it may have been this one, drew the early rifle tag in there last year. It was his first elk hunt and he went it alone. He obviously didn't know what he had because he shot a 250-260ish six by six on opening day. He was thrilled to death, and any bull is a trophy, but the unit has a lot more potential than that. I think it's kind of sad when random people that don't know what's going on and put in and get drawn for tags like 23N, 9, 27, 10, 1.They don't know what they have and kill a bull that they could have killed in any unit in the state. I know he was happy to kill it and some of you say that's all that matters is getting one but seriously? Go put in for a late tag or something if you want 250" bulls. Really? That's an unfair statement if I ever heard one. TJ -
Thanks for sharing your pictures. I for one wouldn't give up the location. TJ
