I was thinking about purchasing a suppressor for my hunting rifle (.300 win mag bolt) and for my ar-10 (.308) I was going to buy one that I can move from firearm to firearm. If drawn I hunt once a year for coues. I have three little kids so really dont have anytime to go shoot like i used to. Just looking for opinions. Is it worth spending $1000+ to maybe use once a year for the hunt? Really on the fence. I just see it sitting in the safe until my little ones are old enough to start shooting.

Appreciate everyone's opinion. After reading responses from page 1 I was going to hold off on getting one. After reading the whole thread I am going to do it. Anyone have any leads on direct thread on for a 300 win mag bolt and .308 AR -10. I am going to swap between rifles. I have the money ready to go but with 2 little kids and another one on the way I was hoping with tax stamp to be under $1,000. If anyone wants to shoot me some options or deals they find it would be appreciated.

My old Bass Pro Oculus finally gave out. It is coming apart everywhere. Was a great tripod for many years for $70. I decided to get the Silk 700 DX AMT. This came in at $129.00. I had a $200 DirecTV gift card that I needed to use. Just wondering if any one can recommend a pan head I can purchase online with gift card for less than $70. Can be one on the Silk website or any other website. Let me know. Thank you!

Looks exactly like my setup which would be the long range model. I have the almost exact setup. These rifles are great! I paid $1800 a year ago for my setup. This is a great deal.

Bump! Not might be the most expensive rifle. This package shoots great I have seen it. Would make a great turnkey youth rifle.

got a .300 win mag Browning Hells Canyon Long Range from a member on here. Took (1) shot at my deer this year. These rifles shoot lights out. Someone buy this!!

Second, the fat layer. The buck I harvested this past Tuesday had so much fat that I ever never seen before on any of my previous coues. They were eating good this year.

I got a new I phone 12 through work and was looking for a digiscope set up. I was looking at the Phone Skope case and adapter but after it was in my cart it was $100. I was wondering if anyone on here had anything used they would be willing to sell? or had any advice on a setup? I heard Phone Skope can be hard to focus sometimes. Any advice is appreciated. what do you want for the legs? What is the max height? My tripod broke the other day. I need of a new one.

I went out to look at the moon last night. Grabbed my binos and tripod to take a quick look. The head off of my Occulus tripod fell off. I think I paid $70 for the Occulus at bass pro 5-6 years ago. It worked great for the price. It was a little heavy. I hopped on the interwebs and started looking at tripods. Holy smokes $500-700 tripods. I cant find a reasonably priced tripod. Anyone have one for sale of have any suggestions. Tripod is for glassing with 15x56 binos 99% of the time. I have used my tripod to shoot off of one time.

recommend a head? I see they have a refurbished silk 700 for sale. It is the SVH model though.

Only problem is I am 6’3” and if needed it is nice to be able to glass standing. A lot of these tripods are only 56”. Yes I try to glass with legs extended as short as possible.

how do you like the bushnell? Obviously like it if you are recommending it. How long have you had yours for?
