Saw on another sight the outcome of this. I am owned by 2 brits as well and am truely sorry for your loss.

I like the shoulders on the deer. Seems to put them down quick. I also think that the lower shots seem to leave the best blood trails. I too have lost animals, and to this day I still am not over it. Nothing big, but I feel like I never did finish the game by not bringing those animals home.

I will be using the Terminal T-Locks again. What a nasty little head.

MERLE!

Looks like they are in executive session now.

I believe the Forest Circus has already had way to much influence. The Horseshoe2 fire didn't need to be so big and devastating. They kept on setting it on fire!! Shouldn't the forest service, at least the Douglas district, go away now? The forest is burned up. What exactly are they going to do now?

So long as the current powers that be keep their heads in the sand, then they are part of the problem. Maybe they are the entire problem for enabling these things to happen. Sure makes it hard to adhere to the usfs closures of our forrests to all U.S. citizens when the illegals can be in it and even burn it up. Sure makes me want to be a outlaw.

So long as they can keep the illegal immigrants out as well I'm good with it!

Also one burning in the Chiricahua's. All I could find is that its being called the Horseshoe fire

I will be using the Terminal T-locks again this year.No problems with them at all.

I've used three different heads, all of which had LESS than stellar results. No more messing around with the mechanicals for me.

Out all day today between 29 and 30a. Three does was all we saw. Ran into 3 ranchers and all they wanted was BEER. Was able to hook them up, then went on. Meant to ask them about the wet problem but didn't get the chance. Good luck to all.

emails sent to those that asked. Thanks, Eddie

I would check all the specs on it to make sure they are where they should be. Also, check your draw weight. It will probably be higher than with your old string and cable. That might be what you are feeling.

Ward's Outfitters 135" coues story
tcharchery replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
To my knowledge, we have no fenced in deer in Arizona, unlike Texas and a few other states. That being said, I would have to disagree with your comment about not allowing deer taken on private land to be entered into record books. If your fortunate enough to be given access to private land, more power to you. I have been fortunate to have been given access over the years. Sometimes it was a benefit, but most of the time it was just like being on public land, with the exception of hunting pressure. I too have learned to use other hunters in an area to my advantage. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. To me, its all about the hunt and the experience. The kill is just icing on the cake. -

You know, I have looked at your profile, and the only name I see is wardsoutfitters. So where do you get off telling someone to fill out their profile? I have seen no posts taking offense to you or any of your guides. What exactly are you scared of, or hiding? Nobody has acused you of doing anythig illegal. You brought that up! So what is your deal??? -
Seemed to be ok. Didn't have anything I had to have, but still a decent selection. Really seem to be pushing the PSE line-up.

Going to try and check it out here in a couple hours.

Where are they in SV?

Bowstring unraveling a little....
tcharchery replied to coues4u's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Is it the string or the serving? I had a serving come apart this weekend. Simple matter of getting rid of the old and re-serving. Was concerned about pressing the bow and serving and then my peep coming back right, but no problems. -
There are NO deer in Horshoe Canyon!!!!! I heard they all moved to Portal.
