And just this past weekend I was swapping it between my 300blk, my 223 bolt gun and my 6.5cm. Shot probably a total of 100 rounds with no hearing protection and no ringing ears. About 40 rounds of that was through my 223 bolt gun. Even using the 30cal end cap it suppresses 223 and 6.5 great. Using rearden plan B style mounts and the diligent defense Zilch mount. All purchased from East Valley Tactical

If you get the stainless version of the diligent defense enticer S or L they’re like $200 cheaper than the titanium versions, which only save you like a half pound. I decided on the L version because suppression was my main focus. Length and weight aren’t a huge concern where I hunt, and I wanted my 300blk to be movie quite.

This is what I did when I was in the market for a 22LR suppressor

Absolutely worth it for me. I went with a diligent defense enticer L, using rearden muzzle device and hub adapter. I use it on my 6.5cm, 300blk at pistol, and my ruger precision 223. It’s comically quite on the 300blk.

Finishing up a 9mm AR build and the last piece is a trigger. Figured I’d ask here first before buying online. East valley thanks

Once you go suppressed you never go back lol. Especially subsonic 30blk

We also used an AR pistol on our ham hunt. Suppressed 300blk off of a tripod!

I bought my daughter the Savage Rascal Target Model for her 8th birthday and she loves it. When I zero’d it at the range before giving it to her all the guys were talking about how good the trigger and action felt for a $280 youth rifle. Comes with a cheap bipod and a cheap 4x scope. Shooting federal gold medal target it shoots sub moa at 50 yards

Do you recall what he charged? I have a pair of Bullrun Chelsea’s with worn out soles. They’re ugly as sin but fit like a glove. -
So I’m just getting into reloading. I’m collecting the necessary tools and devices, and have asked my wife to clean half of her hobby room (eye roll). It seems most people build their own reloading benches out of 2x4’s, 4x4’s plywood, etc. What do you guys use for a reloading bench? Looking for ideas. Prefer something nice enough to be inside the house, but if a sturdy homemade workbench is the best option, can you post pictures of your bench for ideas. Thanks

I bought my T1X when they first came out. Love it. Bought a t3x for hunting and now I have a nice trainer rifle. Super accurate with federal gold medal target.

Reloading bench ideas

I ended up finding a bar height dinning room table on Facebook marketplace. It’s not a big table but it’s almost the same size as my workbench in the garage. It wasn’t as “heavy duty” as the seller said but the price was good and it’s not ugly. I’ll post some pictures when I can remember. also loaded my first batch of ammo and went to Usery to do some testing. First group shot like .25”! -
So I literally just started reloading today. I’m using Hornady match grade dies for 6.5cm. Factory loaded precision hunter measures at .290 mid neck so using the guidelines from Hornady I bought .285, .286 and .287 bushings. I started with .287. After getting the die setup to bump the shoulder .002 I check the neck size and it’s ≈.283. I double measured the bushing and its right at .287. I am not using the expander, im just using the decapping retainer. Am I missing something, is this amount of neck tension going to be an issue? thanks

Newbie neck tension confusion
Calebwalter replied to Calebwalter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
This is kind of what I was thinking. Maybe pushing that .294 neck through the .287 bushings was causing the neck to deform somewhat. -

I tried that last night and it seems like the .286 bushing resizes them correctly. -

Outside diameters are: new factory: .290 once fired: .294 resized using .287 bushing: .283 resized using .286 bushing: .286 where I get confused is I measured the .287 bushing and it appears to be .287. Idk if my calipers aren’t as accurate as I need them to be or if the bushing isn’t the correct size. -

I’m reloading the once fired Hornady brass shot through my tikka. I also don’t understand how I was getting .283. I think I’m going to call Hornady today and see if I’m missing something obvious. I’ve heard they have pretty good customer service. Im using calipers as of now, I didn’t know I needed a ball mic but I guess that’s part of the learning process. -

I chose my neck bushing sizes based on the video Hornady published. They show 3 ways to measure for neck bushings. Option 1 is to measure outer neck diameter of a factory loaded round (mine was .290) and then subtract .003 for neck tension and another .001 for brass spring back. I ordered .285, .286, and .287 to be safe. Option 2 was to use a ball mic to measure neck thickness but I don’t have a ball mic yet, just calipers. -

I’m running once fired Hornady brass from my rifle. I ran the brass through the die with the .287 bushing and my neck outer diameter was .283. I feel like I’m missing something obvious since I’m a newbie. Probably going to call Hornady today and ask a bunch of dumb questions -

So I just put the elliptical expander in and now my neck is sized right at .287. are there any major accuracy disadvantages to running the expander? According to gunwerks videos they suggest not using it 🤷♂️
