With a 45, ammo selection is second to non and probably cheaper. I almost bought a Glock until a a salesman at sportsmans showed me how they can fire out of battery, and how it happened to him twice. I think Glocks are over rated. Kimber makes a nice compact 1911.

I use to do it all the time, go out, shoot a limit, come back home and shower, and be at work at 8:00 am.
