Horse packing ruled illegal in wilderness areas
Diamondbackaz replied to DesertBull's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
One day you won't be able to walk into one. -
The company still exists but I think they are out of the binocular business. There are many more alternatives out there than there use to be so you have more options now.
-
Why would you want these? Warranties are questionable and they are heavy compared to other 15's out there.

What are we going to do if draw doesn't come out today?
Diamondbackaz replied to az300wby's topic in Elk Hunting
I figure that they will post them at the end of the day Friday. This is so that there won't be anyone in the office over the weekend to answer all of the calls that come in after a draw. -
Question, what purpose do they serve? They wouldn't work for me as I have to have my 15's all the way closed because of my narrow IPD. I even had to narrow my adapter just to get them closer together.

For any train buffs out there, Union Pacific's 844 Northern Steam locomotive is in Arizona this weekend. This is one of two steam locomotives they have in operation. Here is the schedule: http://www.up.com/aboutup/special_trains/steam/details.shtml See it on display or stand by the tracks as it rumbles by. In Tucson till Saturday morning and then up to Phoenix

Any Ron Paul Supporters Out There?
Diamondbackaz replied to Curtis Reed's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
It's not the media that convinced me, It's the debate performance. The one I saw, he sucked. When it comes to the general election, selecting the winner is going to be done by the independents. -

Any Ron Paul Supporters Out There?
Diamondbackaz replied to Curtis Reed's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Ron Paul recently condemned the killing of Al Qaeda Anwar al- Awlaki. If Ron Paul doesn't know who our enemies are, he doesn't belong in the white house, or even in Congress for that matter. nuff said. -

Bill, congratulations on your elk tag. When is your hunt dates? TJ Thanks, TJ. The season is August 5-8. Don't have topo maps for the area yet, but it appears to be a small area south of Eagar, east of Water Canyon and west of Nutriosa Creek. It may or may not include the Sipes Wildlife Area, which I do know. I plan to spend much time learning that area this summer. I can't walk much any more, but I sure can sit a tank or a spring and wait for a herd to show up. I'm really excited. This may be my last elk hunt. Bill Quimby Talk to the game ranger up, they will tell you what to do and who to contact. The road to the top of flat top has been closed for a few years. These elk come into town at night.

I did an internet research on autoloaders few years ago when I was looking at getting one myself. The BAR won hands down over the remingtons. For someone light weight and petite, get a light weight short track or zenith in 243. The zenith is lighter at 6.1 pounds. Short track: http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/f...talker-firearms . the zenith: http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/f...estige-firearms . Both should have minmal recoil in .243 as they are gas operated. This will be good for up for deer.

They are used for trolling and taking a lure down to deep depths. They are mostly used on the great lakes for lake trout. They can be used anywhere. I have a friend that has used them on Roosevelt.
-
I was out at three points a few years ago watching a 1,000 yard match and almost all had a leupold sitting on top of their rifles.
-
You probably won't sell that thing here as most people here know those things don't work well.

Do the trigger yourself. http://www.snipercountry.com/Articles/Remingtontriggers.asp . This is just one, Google "Remington trigger adjustment" and you get others. We did mine on my model 7 and it is sweet.

Help me decide which .22 rifle

10-22. There are more aftermarket parts and other stuff for these things than all other rimfires put together -
Hunting season just opened
Diamondbackaz replied to Ernesto C's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Stealing a man's tools that he uses to make a living with is the lowest thing a person can do. That and stealing a mans guns. See if your homeowners insurance may help cover the loss. -
