Take a drive in one of our pine forests, not one of the ones that already been wiped out by fire, but one that has trees. Take a close look at the number of brown trees you see being wiped out by bark beetle. Many of the oak trees down south in coues country are dying of lack of water. This is a true loss of habitat. This is not a political position, but a fact.
