Does anyone us a 22-250 for Coues
Diamondbackaz replied to Bucks_N_Yotes's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
How about retained energy??? -
Barnes has a nice reloading manual for all the bullets they make
-
380 is a less common caliber compared to the other two. I wanted to buy some RCBS loading dies for my wifes old 38 S&W and they wanted $150 bucks for them. I only found one company that makes brass for it. Fortunately LEE had some dies that were $22.00

Is it just me or or did AZOD chat disapear??? -
I will put my leupold pinacles up against anything. 1/3 the price of Swaros. D&R sports had the best price. Nikon monarch another good choice.

gunsmiths for rebarrel and blue?
Diamondbackaz replied to muledeerarea33?'s topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Before you rebarrel it, clean it with Barnes CR-10, follow the instructions as you don't leave it in too long. You may just have a fouled barrel giving you problems. -

36b wilderness area
Diamondbackaz replied to wklman's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Well Boy, wait till your an old fart and you may rethink your position. I have been keep my eye on this for awhile now. Many of the roads are actually cherry stemed into the proposed wilderness which gains the support for people who use vehicles to access some areas. I don't buy this. In 1984, the cherry stem that went into the galiuro wilderness was closed off at powers hill. The wilderness coalition is to keep taking a little bit at a time until they have it all -

gunsmiths for rebarrel and blue?
Diamondbackaz replied to muledeerarea33?'s topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Take it to Lawson's. They do it all the time and probably has a new take off barrel they can sell you. I have a friend that gets his rifles rebarrelled all the time over there. They just did a trigger job on my BAR and was in there a week. -
Bass Pro hunting and firearms sucks compared to Cabelas and Sportsmans. They have a great fishing area.

You forgot to tell us about your 270WSM -
I have an outdoorsmans adaptor that we can do a direct swap for.

Just think of all the elk walking around after archery season dying a slow death from a poorly shot arrow.

I had that tag 3 or 4 years ago. 36B is my favorite unit but my friends won't hunt down there anymore so I put in for 33. I just hope you can take enough time off to hunt the week days. -

Haven't had it in the wind so I don't know. I normally don't hunt in a strong wind anyway. Gentle breeze has no affect. How steady is it in the wind?

I have slik srint pro with the Jim white pannining attachment works well with the ball head that came with tripod. This is a great back pack set up. It folds up a lot easier than my outdoorsmans with Jim white head. heck of a lot cheaper too.
