GreyGhost Just curious, did you sharpen the blades before your hunt? I am by no means sold on these broadheads. Just thought I would buy some and shoot.
-
I just wanted to follow up on the montechs. I bought some G5's. I'm hunting in a state that does not allow any expandable blades. 1st they shoot great. 2nd they were not sharp in the package. could hardly shave hair. 3rd they did take some time to sharpen properly. But I was able to get them very sharp. 4th They are tough.

like any broadhead, keep it sharp. Fred Bear used to say if your broadhead was razor sharp you could hit an animal almost anywhere and it would die.....

put a locker in the back, have chains and you'll be much better off.

nothing in Gila county, because really not a reliable way to get tested. Even though sonora quest does testing you need a script to get tested. So most travel to PHX for a test. That is what I did. Has far has hospitals being filled up. The hospitals in maricopa county were running consistently at over 98% capacity before this hit. Most institutions have cancelled and elective procedures. This does help with the room to treat people. Social distancing? not if you work in a hospital..........

my 96 has 390k, when the time comes I'll rebuild and not think twice. I know every issue plus the limited electronics make me very comfortable when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

Good luck, I hunt with a longbow and it is tough. I got a mule deer this year at 18yds. Ive shot at a couple whitetails but at over 20 yards they are long gone before my arrow arrives. Its still a blast.

just could not compete with the big stores... to bad, he had a great inventory of camping supplies plus best prices and selection of western wear.

I've only talked to Duwane twice. The 1st time he gave me two bits of advice, the second time I let him know how things worked out. The advice he gave me completely changed the way I hunt. He did not have to give me these tips and why would he do it if he where such a snake? From here it seems we have not heard from Duane or A3 , only 3rd or 4th hand info. Who knows the truth? I

we had one for almost 15 years, he passed about 6 months ago. very protective dog. my wife couldn't control him when he was 4 months old. She took him to obedience training. after the 2nd class they kicked him out. every time a bigger dog looked at Christine he went after it. he was also great on cattle (header) .. I will say I've never had a dog that needed so much exercise. We love him and miss him.

Sportsmans Input Sought by ConserveandProtectAZ.org-Unit wide Raffle and Auction Tags

I see that the deer association meeting this Tuesday at bass pro shops is speaking on this topic. Maybe this is posted already, not sure. I would suggest that everyone interested go to the meeting and get the facts. I went to a similar meeting in 2012 and it was informative and well run. I did not agree with the proposal but all in all it was a good opportunity to hear the concept. -

Ok, well thanks for responding. Maybe your just stuck in the middle and trying to be heard on your pod cast (which are excellent). But this is starting out poorly if they are interested in everyone's input. -

Jay, BS They do not want our input or they would have given us more time..... more notice and been transparent. -
I'd like to know why I get an email every week from azsfw telling me what's going on with the lion, big cat deal. But I received nothing from them on this tag deal????? It would be different if they were transparent about the whole thing, But they are off to a terrible start. Last time around they claimed it was purely a mistake that the legislation was started without sportsman knowing about it? Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. In general Sportsmen and women are so apathetic that it's embarrassing, I can't wait to see if people actually stand up and be heard. Understand this! If they truly cared about what we think or wanted our support an email would have been sent out, times would not have been changed. This is all short notice and they will have some kind of excuse. What will we do?

What well respected sportsman was that?

I would be interested to know the true ins and outs of this whole proposal. The problem is the way they tried to sneak in past everyone last time really created distrust. -

what a bunch of BS AGAIN. 12 sportsman showed up, That would be the 12 they wanted and informed of the meeting. Ask how many paid positions this would create.
