Anyone hunting Camp Navajo this fall? I got super lucky and drew the only non-resident tag for the first archery hunt. My packet is submitted and should be authorized into the Limited Area; so hoping to see some nice bulls. But first time; so steep learning curve with only one weekend of scouting allowed, and not sure if I'll get to scout the Limited Area either.

My first post! I drew a Burros Muzzy Muley tag, and pretty stoked! I retired in 2011 (USAF) and have been flying as a contractor overseas for last eight years...and have drawn nothing in NM in 10 years. I had whitetails in Burros as first choice, but drew 2nd choice muleys. But I've never hunted south of Beaverhead, NM. So if anyone can point me in the right direction on where to start scouting, I'd much appreciate!! I may go with a guide as well, so any recommendations on outfitters, I'd much appreciate as well!!
