Factory Norma 143's are 2500 fps and my reloads are 2700 fps with the 135 Berger behind 55gr of h4831sc. Mind you it's an 18" barrel and round count is right at 100 but I doubt she's gonna get a whole lot faster.

I did the same but cut it to 18". The barrel is super slow and not much faster than a creedmoor but it is stupid accurate for a pencil barreled factory rifle.

If you are using the 6.5 creed, the 127 Barnes LRX has been a great all around bullet for us. Longest shots have been around 400 yards with most between 1-300 but my wife, kids and friends have tipped over 8 elk, 3 mule deer and a few wt/hogs with it over the past 10 years. Terminal performance has always been good. We've had a couple of double lunged death runs that have gone 150 yards but the rest have either hit the dirt of only made it a handful of yards.

The Bartlein barrel blank will need to be fit to your action and chambered by a gunsmith ($3-400). Current cost for the blank from Bartlein is $475 plus a 6-12 month wait. Let me know if you have any other questions...
