Just took it, thanks. I wonder why this was not e-mailed to all the tag applicants? -
Killer pics! What a mixed bag of freaks......and great variety of fish too!

I used to train horses in Marana. A couple hundred yards off of I-10 there are trails and daytime hideouts. There is no question that they walk parralell to the freeway at night.

I'll give you $1237.47 for it!

That is mega cool! Thanks...

At One-Time #1 Whitetail - FOR SALE????
aztrophytakers replied to m77's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I would virtually garantee it a replica. -
Great shot. Rabbits are great practice. Hard to get pass thru's on rabbits sometimes. Too light weight of an animal moves with the arrow.

Is it raining where you live?
aztrophytakers replied to aztrophytakers's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Glad to hear it. I hope the northern units get drenched. Come on antlers! -
Maybe its gotten too easy for you. You might lay down your rifles and take up only the bow. I promise it will open up an entirely different world.

Hilarious!

The one question test

I would throw my camera at them in hopes of making survival slightly more difficult. -
Although true that nothing compares to on the ground scouting, topo maps are where it starts. If you are good at reading topo's you can visualize exactly what the country looks like before you arrive. You can determine probable areas, where you need to get to glass from and many other things. Another benefit I use all the time with my NG Topos is getting exact GPS coords from the map. You can determine shortest hiking routes and hike to vantage points in the dark to places you have never been. They are invaluble to me. And yes they show evry spring, seep and dirt tank on them.

National Geographic Topo's. They show all water sources as well as roads, trails and vantage points.

Thats a one in a million. Awesome

Mankind figures some stuff out when their bellies are empty and they don't have any PSE's ,Hoyt's, Win. 300's or 25-06's.

Getting the pictures from the cam is probably the reason he is giving him a chance to return it.Anyone running cams in April is hardcore and want those friggin pics.In my personal case when I got my cams lifted I was more upset about not having the pictures than I was about losing the cams. Cams can be replaced but the pics and info cannot. Still sick about it.

Good winter storms as well as spring storms are needed for best growth. Bulls antlers are pretty much done growing by mid july so summer monsoons do little for that years antler growth. A good green spring without too much wind following a good winter is the ticket. I here it's might rain tomorrow. I hope so, I got a tag too!

Very sorry to hear about your camera. I also know the boiling rage that floods you when you walk up to find your cams gone. I lost three this last year that had a been out from Dec. 1 thru the end of Jan. Every bit of rut activity was lost on those cams. They were all on the same spring/scrape 2.2 miles from the end of a very long and rough road. I had never seen a another boot track in there in over 5 years. I still check all the trail cam forums, just hoping to find some of my pics posted. I know their was some toads on those cams. Still gives my a stomach ache after a year. Anyway, I'm sorry about your cam. I have a question though- Are trail cams on public land considered abandon property by law? I am not talking about the law of ethics, I'm talking State Law. If your thief is identified can you actually prosecute them? Seems I've heard that they are considered abandon property by law?

Inconsistent and confused is one way to desribe it. I lean more toward shady and greedy. As far as OTC youth tags, I think it is great. Mandatory harvest reporting would be a great managment tool. If the kids start wackin and stackin then adjust the draw tags accordingly. I think they should do the same with deer. Not OTC but load up the Juniors and cut the Adults cause AZGFD doesn't give a rats butt about proper managment anyhow.

I see about 5 a year on average since I moved to S. AZ.

I think a lot of hunters dont believe they are conservative. In fact, I think they are killing off the coues deer with all these extra tag increases and additional hunts that they are heading down the same road they did with the mule deer... I think the permit numbers are far from conservative.. If you look at the ratio of permits/size of herd AZ is much higher than the majority of the western states. Issuing 400 buck deer tags in 9 and 600 or whatever it is in 10? Are you kidding me, there are not even that many deer, let alone bucks in the dang unit. The number of permits may not be determined by the number of animals available, but the harvest succees drives the permit #'s. I think if it was mandatory and they saw what the real harvest numbers are they would not be able to justify all the permits they give out... thus creating a bugdget shortfall... Creating a statistical way to fix the analysis is not good enough. Requiring mandatory reporting is the only way to get good data that cant be manipulated by the dept. I couldn't agree more. I think most of the Coues /Mule Deer hunts are anything but conservative. If you want conservative look to NM or NV.
