Pretty much says it all right there.

I agree 100% with this. It isn't just hunters stealing cams, but any punk a$$ that happens along. Placing cams on public land is a calculated risk. Is the info gained worth the possible loss of one or more cams? It is to me. I run 30+ cams and have had 4 stolen. Dosen't mean I wouldn't love to happen into someone beeboppin down the trail with my goods in their hand but when I show up and a cam is gone, sure I get pissed, but in this day and age its all part of the deal. Simply don't put them out unless you can afford to lose it because it is only a matter of when not if....

Sad truth is get used to it. Cams on public land will get stolen sooner or later.

I love the quote in the upper right hand corner " believed to be the oldest wild Jaguar in the WORLD" How would those buffoons have any notion of an idea that he was the oldest Jaguar in the World....HAHahahahah....arrogant fools...

Extremely sad. After many trips to Mexico myself, one always felt "safe" once on the ranches and behind gates. No more! And the fact that you have to go unarmed if you are just scouting ranches or traveling just makes one a sitting duck for these scumbag druggies...

Ever wonder how AGFD conducts surveys for deer?
aztrophytakers replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
aztrophytakers: "One question- Why does AZGFD refuse to make harvest reporting mandatory? It would be a very simple rule change and the info gathered would be invaluable. One would think that this would be a fundamental basic in game management no?"[/color] "I couldn't agree more with everything you stated except that it would be easy! The rule change would be a piece of cake. The technology hardware and software to make the mandatory reporting enforceable are quite involved and very expensive. To illustrate let's take an example. Let's say we have a rule that makes harvest reporting mandatory and failure to report results in loss of ability to buy a license or apply for a permit. Great. So I'm a hunter who forgets or neglects to report my hunt. How does the department communicate the list of reprobate harvest reporters to our hundreds of license dealers in a timely manner? And how do we force the kid working the sporting goods counter at Wal-Mart to check the list and not sell a hunting license/bear tag/artchery deer tag/etc. to the non-reporters? Sure, we can keep them out of the draw, but we can't keep them out of the over-the-counter hunts. What we would need is a statewide Point-of-Sale (POS) computerized license sales database where all license dealers are connected to a Department server. Many states have such POS systems; Colorado is one of them. With several million in hardware and software we could have one too. Only problem is we don't have the extra cash. So until somewhere down the road, no mandatory reporting until we have a POS system. Lastly, simply writing tickets to the non-reporters won't work either. We currently have mandatory reporting for archery deer and the compliance rate is far less than 100%. Finding, citing and prosecuting the non-reporters takes a great deal of time and manpower and hasn't proven successful in substantially increasing reporting. We need a system that prevents non-reporters from buying future licenses until their report is submitted." I don't buy the fact that it would take"several million" to enforce such a law if it was enacted. Heck, I will quit my current job and handle the whole thing myself and only charge a couple hundred thousand;-) All joking aside I think that there is other motives at work that are keeping mandatory harvest reporting from becoming a law. Possibley the fact that AZGFD does not want the data to be public because then the gross mismanagement of our deer herds would be laid on the table in numbers that everyone could understand. How could they look the AZ sportsmen in the eye when it was disclosed that the very agency that is supposed to protect our deer herds is in fact the ones that are destroying it. -
Happy to do it! Thanks for all the hard work bring us all this website.

Leica Geovid 10x42 Range Finding Bino
aztrophytakers replied to aztrophytakers's topic in Classified Ads
Geovids sold pending payment. -
I am selling a Leica Geovid 10x42 Rangefinding Binocular. They have been my constant companion for the last 3 years. They bear all the use and marks of hard hunting. The lense coatings are scratched and are not new! The RangeFinder works awesome and will still range 1300+ on a cool morning. Sent them back to Leica for a rangefinder refurbish a year or so back. I still use them all the time and am still amazed at the clarity after all the use I have gotten out of them. No REASONABLE offer refused. Please PM if interested. I will donate 5% of the selling price to Amanda if sold here. They will be posted on E-bay as well. Thanks...

Paid $2100.00 Please PM for if interested. I will donate 5% to Amanda is they are sold on here. They will also be posted on E-bay. Thanks

Sickening, yes. Suprising, No. This is the direction that our country is headed and we will be lucky to ever get it back to the America that these vets know. As long as Hussein and his circle of commi friends are in power expect our morals and values to continue to spiral into the toilet...
