I have a Promaster 4848, tripod head with pan function. It is in great shape! Being very lightweight is ideal for hunting and hauling around in a backpack. It is also very compact. Includes two quick release plates making it quick to switch between your binocs and scope. I will ship it to your door in the lower 48 for $45.

Swhackers for bull elk? Updated testing..
pronghorn replied to TOBY's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I have only shot Swhackers for two years, but in those two years I have shot two mule deer bucks. They went 70 and 30 yards. I will be shooting Swhackers for deer and elk again this year in Colorado. -
Walk less and glass more. If you think it's a good spot, put in your time. It could very well take several hours. I have found, here in Colorado, the bucks get back up at roughly 1:00 to stretch their legs and get a bite to eat. Most hunters are napping in camp at that time.

Awesome. Just awesome. I had my five year old son in deer camp with me this year and it was a great experience for both of us.

I can't say enough good things about my 15x58's. This was my first year with them and it changed the way I hunt.

That is a CRAZY story! I hope if I am ever in the same situation, I can handle myself as calmly as you did. Congratulations on your first archery buck!

I have a Vortex Nomad spotting scope that is in nearly perfect condition. I have used it, but not abused it! It is a 60mm scope with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece. It has the angled body and includes a view through scope cover with a shoulder strap, that not only protects the scope but does not need to be removed to look through the scope. It also includes the eye piece cover, which screws on and the lense cover which attaches to the sliding sun shade. As with all Vortex products, this includes the lifetime transferable warranty. It is a no questions asked warranty that covers everything! I will ship it to your door in the lower 48 for $250. I can email photos as needed whferguson1@yahoo.com

I have a camo K&K tripod that extends to 51" with the head. It folds down to 17" without the head. I also have an extra head with a quick disconnect for each head. The K&K pistol grip head is super smooth! One of the heads has a little bit of play in the handle, but stil performs perfectly. The tripod with one head retails for around $300 at Sportsmans Warehouse. The legs have a few sratches on them from use. I will ship it to your door in the lower 48 for $180.

It is the K&K bino mount, you can view it better at shnees.com. I have put binos up to 51mm in them with lots of room to spare. When I first bought this bino mount, the foam that was in it kept falling out in my pack. I replaced the foam with a more pliable foam and taped it in place with electrical tape. No more problems. The upper threaded rod turns in and out to securely lock the binos in place and is adjustable over several inches. I have liked it a lot, I am buying a new set of binos which will have their own mounting system. So, I no longer need it.
