Does anyone use GPS for their hunt? I spoke with someone & he said that besides a flatline map & on x hunt, they use Garmin GPS with weather & radio to track where his vehicle is. I never got the model of the Garmin but it does sound like a nice tool to have.

Has anyone heard of gameplannermaps? Someone's soliciting me to buy one of his but they're much more expensive than the others I've seen.
-
I'll wait, then. They have a map & app pkg for $49. Is this worth it? In the interim, I'm going to scout around this wknd using an atlas (all I got @ the moment). I'll get a general idea of the area. I noticed Sprortsmans warehouse have hunting maps for 3A....Hunt Data. You familiar with these? $30.

Are you familiar with the azgfd maps? I read you can get them at the Natl Forest District Office in Lakeside & Overgaard but someone told me some roads are excluded where the flat line maps include a more detail topo of the areas. Flat line said they're working on 3a & should be ready in 6 wks

Yes, I'm new to big game like Elk. I've usually hunt small game like dove, which is easy. At this point, I'm unfamiliar with the habitat but do plan on scouting the area.

Thanks. I'll scout around this weekend & see what's out there.

Flatline maps doesn't have 3A for some reason. What do you use?

Considering I've ever been there & don't know the area, yes. Has anyone hunted 3A?

New2Hunt20 started following Unit 3A late Bull Elk hunt

Excuse me? Ok, nevermind. I won't post here anymore. I'm just unfamiliar with 3A and thought someone would have some tips on the area and wasn't asking for hotspots. I'll just drive around & scout the area myself.

Hi everyone, new to this forum. Hope everyone's faring well in this coronapanic. I've always hunted small game over the last few years but got pulled for the Nov/Dec bull elk hunt in Unit 3A/C. Does anyone know 3A very well? I was hoping to learn how to hunt this area, in general. I see many Pronghorn, not bull elk. If anyone is hunting or scouting 3A and doesn't mind someone tagging along this year, let me know. I'd love to learn the area. Thanks
