Resident elk points won't do anything for your app if you're a nonresident just an FYI. But if you need odds for certain hunts let me know and I can throw up some numbers for your situation. 16 points is gonna be from someone holding out for a early rifle tag or a unit 23 or 9 archery tag. You won't see anybody willing to give that much time up even for cash either

It's a great idea in my opinion. Find a way to place an apple air tag in some of them too. Just so if you do send it out and some jerk keeps the gun. You know where it is

All of my old spots are closed now. Used to go near the Cow farms by the 202 south. But I found a new spot and I bag out every time I go. Nonstop flying when the sun starts to set

Youth Bow or Muzzleloader or handgun? Please help
UggRedBilly replied to gonefishn's topic in Youth Hunters
I started shooting my bow at about 8 years old and quickly got up to 35 pounds. Plenty on practice and she will get there in no time. But the AR pistol will probably be the best option and easiest to learn -
9mm with 2 mags, one is a 10 round mag the other is a 12 or 13 round magazine. I can include some ammo with it if you would like. Only put like 4 mags through it, bought in 2021 only owner. I may still have the box too. 375 OBO Only will respond to PM

Youth Bow or Muzzleloader or handgun? Please help
UggRedBilly replied to gonefishn's topic in Youth Hunters
I got a muzzlelaoder recently. The recoil isn't too bad compared to a 243. Especially if you wanna do some lighter loads. Look at getting a cva wolf, black horn 209 powder, Home hornady SST, and some blackhorn 209 primers. And some cleaning kit supplies. That's about all you need -
Also the creep goes up about 1 point every 2 years if you wanna do the math. Plus tags might still decline on top of that too for late hunts. All of these people realizing they won't draw a strip tag start bailing out too into the late bab hunts
-
Why not do the muzzy tag for 12ae or 12bw. It's usually a week before the late and deer will start pre-rut. Same caliber of bucks are shot too on both hunts. You'd have garunteed draw according to last year. A muzzy setup for like 400$ can get you 250 yard shots. And if you learn it well even 300 yards. You got plenty of time to learn from now till then

Don't forget the probable 100$ parking. I paid 50 when we swept the dodgers a few weeks back!
