Man I feel terrible for you guys. I was just looking into the draw odds and it is stupid that a 0 point person has almost the same chance as a 15-20 point person. Depending on hunt type and unit. Kinda makes me wish that the BP system would square the points. I feel like a lot of the time more people with few points draw more often than those with 20. I'm not sure of the real stats but I kinda see that trend from each year of pronghorn hunts

Look into a lifetime license. You still have same odds as a res if you do move. BUT you still gotta pay Nonres prices

I haven't done mail in for awhile. Do I just print the form from home or should I go pick on up from G&F like they used to have with the blue envelopes? Also do I need to send a check or am I able to put in my card details somewhere on this app?

None of my buddies got drawn so no elk hunting trips for me! Time to count down for deer! Hopefully that draw can go smoother since they probably fixed most the issues this time

A lot has changed since then. And that is all I hear about for every unit in the state too. That it used to be so much better. Quite a lot has changed since then. We have much mor research at our own finger tips, more atv's/ 4x4 capabilities, more roads, and more people in general. A whole lot has changed since. Yes cams do affect that a bit. I wont act like it doesnt but a ban wouldnt really change things that much. I think itll lead to more human traffic at water holes or in hunting areas due to no cams

It's not in Phoenix but in AJ/East Mesa there is a shop called AJI and it has a gunsmith in the back. He did great with all of my family's guns including restoring an old .22 from the early 1900's! He is pretty great!

Over 150,000 applicants? That's still less than there is for the draw in the summer. They should still have it done pretty quickly. I am assuming nobody got a card hit today?

I dont think it even shows the results today. Just a card charge. But usually it takes a week to find out what hunt number and tag number you have right?

During the deer draw last year I was hit at 1 PM then my dad and brother were hit at 5 PM. So maybe we will be lucky to get it earlier

Hey guys! If you all remember I was running an arrow setup that weighed 369 grains! I was told it was bare minimum for elk before my hunt in november. So I dont wanna keep using that setup in the years to come. I am drawing 65 pounds with ease now too (Max Poundage). I know I clearly need to get a heavier head to I will be switching to a 125 grain broadhead now. I also only have a 24 inch draw which takes away a lot of weight and speed. So what should I look into for a new arrow set up? I usually end up getting the cheaper arrows at Spotsmens with a 340 spine for 40$. Would a wrap help a lot? Do they come off to easily? Is there a specific type of arrow for shorter draw lengths out there? Thank you!

Sounds great! I'll have to go pick some inserts up then! I'll definitely get those broadhead too! People were telling me to get them before my elk hunt and they were outta stock everytime I checked for the last few weeks before hunting!

There is a shop called bear moutain nearby my place! I will head there and check them out!
