Ok guys, I am used to getting up 3 hours before light and heading to my treestand, setting up at least 1 hour before light, and then waiting it out. We usually hunt till around 11:00 go in for lunch, back in the tree by 2:30 and then staying well past dark. Whats the scoop on Mountain Lions and Bears? Is the type of hunting I am used to a problem? How is it done in Arizona? The only thing we have to wory about in Oklahoma is Bobcats and coyotes, which are more affraid of us than we are of them.

Well I guess I will need a dentist, so I will look you up.

I have an aunt that lives in Talaqua, looks like my official move date will be march the 18th.

Hey guys, glad to hear some of you from around there. I work for Cable One here in oklahoma and am transferring to Show Low, I will be the Technical Operations Manager so this is a huge step for me. I am sure I will be busy for awhile but when things settle down I plan on doing some Hunting. I have never had the opertunity to hunt Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope or Couse, so this will deffinatly be exciting for me. Where we hunt around here is all done from tree stands, a little bit of spot and stock. But the ountry around here is so thick we usually just set up on some good trails get up in the trees and wait it out. I am an avid Bow hunter as well as rifle and blackpowder, hope to get to meet some of you and maby get some info on where to go. Thanks Tony G.

Hello all, I will be new to your area soon. I have accepted a job in Show Low AZ. I have been a avid hunter based out of Bartlesville OK, all of my life. Giving up hunting is just not something that I am ready to do, anyway after some research it looks like couse deer is the closest thing that I am used to. I will be moving my family up later this year, just trying to make some friends and learn more about the area. Any and all info appreciated, thanks.
