Huh? I'm confused..... What kind of tree was it and what would make it goofy? I'm a bit familiar with the arboretum, but am confused. S. -

YES! I was with Slim last year as he took three lady hunters into an area and got on to a nice herd in 36B last year! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to commit yet (work-travel and kids.....). I'm hoping to make it down for at least a night again this year though! S.

YES!!!! YES!!! YES!!!!! VERY sincere congrats Jim!!! Is this your first? If so, you have just experienced the COMPLETE and total love that rushes over you when you bring a child into the world! No way to describe it, but to experience it yourself..... Babies, children (even teenagers....) are the absolute BEST part of life! Cigars for everyone!!!!!! Again, sincere congrats to you and your wife!!! S.

LOL..... Pretty interesting...... I think the puchasing company was already distributing Jim Beam in Japn anyway. Also, the compay that bought them has been a maker/disributor of their own brand of spirits in Japan fo many years. My guess is that it is much less about 'outsourcing', and much more about simply making a multi billion $$ investment in a good/strong brand. As for making it in China, uh... I really doubt that would happen. S.

I love a good Sonoran Dog!!! Up here in Phoenix there is a couple who have a stand set-up in a lot at 20th Street and Indian School. It's fairly close.... Love stopping by there on a Friday or Saturday night! Anyone know of any other spots in Central Phx?? Would like to try more spots and compare.... S.

Correction: My Remington is a 7400..... ( I made a typo). Picked it up while in college for $70! Hunted with it with open sites for several years.... Long live the semi-auto rifle!!! Especially the BAR's!!! Had a friend with one of the Remington pump 30-06 models. Good/fun/reliable rifles! S.

LOVE the BAR's!!! That one is a beauty! I have a BAR in .7mm Rem Mag caliber that my father bought for me 25 years ago that I absolutely cherrish! I also have a nice Remington 7400 semi-auto in .308 that I like quite a bit too (All three of my kids killed their first deer with that one.....). Thanks for sharing the pic of that fine looking rifle! S.
