Ya, I'm confused too, in that I thought Roth was limited to 'post tax' dollars, which the $20,500 ($27,000 for us old-timers) does not apply. IRS contribution limits apply to 'pre-tax' money. Possibly one of those those back-door Roth transfer-thingys that they've been trying to shut down. But I'm definitely NO tax advisor, nor would I purport that all 401K management firms are equal., so rock on!! 🤑👊 Edit: 10-4 on Roth 401K vs. Roth IRA being different. Again, I'm no tax advisor.

Meanwhile, back to the program..... Two different friends reported card hits for elk overnight. FYI for those who were still hoping.

Oh boy..... Here we go. 🙄😂

BIG +1 on this. If I got excited by a $40K daily upswing or bummed about a $40K daily drop in my 401K/IRA combo portfolio, I would go crazy. Dollar cost averaging + the magic of compound interest/growth is a very powerful thing in the long-term. Max-out the IRS limits in basically any domestic growth fund (or a combo of sectors, whatever...), and over time you will be fine.

Sort of interesting to me. Many outfitters have pricing posted on their websites. Maybe they just haven’t figured out 2022 pricing yet? Inflation, etc.? 🙄 Oh well, whatever happens, good luck PRDATR! 👊🏼

When I wore glasses, I ended-up going with daily wear contact lenses. I found I was regularly frustrated with my glasses when sweat/fog would impede. I also wanted to be able to wear sunglasses on a regular basis, which prescription glasses of course prevented. (Tried transition lenses, but never really liked them...) Though contact lenses introduced a different level of inconvenience, they were still my preferred option when outdoors. That being said, I give a BIG +1 to JSR's comment. I had Lasik surgery over 10 years ago, and haven't looked back! (Yes, that's a pun... lol) My eyes are still 20/20. Good luck! S.

Two X $135 here. (Two out of three individual applications for my two sons and I. Fingers crossed for them! ) Good luck, everyone!

There she goes again!!!! 😳 Outstanding!!!!

My experience has been the opposite, in that I’ve always gotten max wear on mine. (Though the mud terrains HATED the desert…). Suppose it might depend on type/weight of vehicle. Just put these on my Tacoma last week. Hoping to get >50K, but time will tell.

VERY COOL!!!! Love to see somebody getting drawn on occasion without double-digit bonus points. Gives me hope. Those Ace in The Hole guys are good people. 👊

When in college in Salt Lake (a LONG time ago), I had BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires on my Toyota. My pals and I spent many, many, days/nights out four-wheeling while hunting or for fun in all kinds of weather, and those tires were AWESOME in snow. Honestly, don't remember how they performed on packed roads (ice), but they were great off road in either mud OR snow. S.

WOW!!! Exactly how close did he get?? (Can be hard to assess scale from video....)

Interesting.... Do you have your hands on that thing, or just the pic. Is it an actual 'sign' or more of a 'plaque'???

I was a 7 year old boy in 72, but I still remember my parents and older brother/sisters being glued to the TV coverage. Was channel surfing and came across 'Munich' the other night, and ended-up watching it again. The Israelis didn't stand for any crap when it came to dealing with that.

Yea, me too, mostly…. Was mainly just joking around. Seems like there has sorta always been a ‘political’ vibe of some kind or another. Go USA!!! 👊🏼

You mean since 1968? 🤣

Yep. In the old days, if you got drawn for elk you couldn't hunt elk again for 3 years. I was a kid then, and my dad would handle all of the applications and stuff, so I'm not really sure specifically how it was administered. I'll bet some of the old-timers around here likely remember that.....

Sorta get the sentiment, but don’t really agree. You wouldn’t need to raise the price of tags, because even with a 1 year cooling off period, they would still be selling out the tags each year. Regarding better odds; The number of applicants far exceeds the tags issued in any given year, plus with so many bonus points across the board, I feel like that saturation would keep the increased odds negligible. Suppose there would be some effect, but my gut tells me it wouldn’t be significant. I remember back in the late 70s when I started hunting as a kid, there was a THREE year ‘cooling off’ period if you got drawn. Don’t think they had a bonus point system then, though. At least not that I remember…

Yuck...... Definitely not just Arizona and the southwest. The western slope of the Rockies has been in a long-term state of moderate drought, and it shows.....

On the other hand, it very well could have been someone who knows EXACTLY what a Mexican gray wolf looks like.

Father-son double! LOVE IT!!! Plus the recurve is cool, too! S.

How far East?? I use Arizona Advanced Dermatology close to Miller/Indian School (Old Town, Scottsdale area..). Been pretty happy with them. S.

Nice job on those tags. It’s cool that you took advantage of some of the hunting opportunities that are out there outside of the main stream! 😉 I don’t know anything personally about it, but hopefully Dan (Apache7MM), or others will chime in. Let us know how you do!

That’s a beauty! I have a 7400 in .308 caliber that I picked up in college. Two of my kids killed their first deer with it. Great rifles! 😉
