For sure. Hit me up. If I remember, I'll maybe post a high-level report here, but PM me for gory details.

Not yet, but I'm sneaking out of work a little early today to head-up there for the weekend. S.

Sounds like a nice Spring weekend in the woods. Love it when the gobblers are going-off!

Agree on this and didn't mean to poo-poo the important topic of driver education/safety. Just wanted to make sure Kev's kid can find a car. My children are all in the mid-late 20s now, but when they were 15-16, we enrolled each of them in comprehensive driving class. I forget the name, but it was a 'school' that was started and run by some ex Phoenix PD traffic cops, I believe. Well worth the investment. S

I think he said his daughter is looking for a car, not a driving school. ๐๐ญ Maybe thereโs a cream puff somewhere in this bunch, Kevin? https://www.edmunds.com/used-cars-under-5000-tucson-az/ Good luck to the young lady!!

Actually, no, I figure since Skeletor is talking about guns, thatโs sorta hunting related, right? ๐

30-06. Great all around caliber. Ammo availability is great. I picked up a .243 for my kids to start with when they were younger. Found though, that we quickly put it away and went to the 30-06. (Bought that .243 from somebody on the site, and ended up selling it on the side too.๐)

Proposed fall, spring hunt recommendations for 2022-2023 available for review

100%, this specific thought came to my mind as well. LOL +1 on this, too. Saw they brought it up. Big difference in it being "all about the money" and having a budget hole to fill, though. -
"Should we report these guys?" Pretty much just did.... Gone now, but many more in his wake, I'm sure...

Regarding your first point/paragraph, I'm thinking that they DO have a reason to delete them. Basically, them's the rules..... (Possibly they're going for some sort of 'loyalty' spin on it....) For your second point regarding what they "should" do, my feeling is woulda/coulda/shoulda.... I guess they might be able to, but are they supposed to send an alert/update out for every occurence? Finally regarding your final point on purging records for inactive/deceased applicants, there is actually one very good reason, which is IT/Technology health. Bad practice to leave records on a database indefinitely. Also, 'only about money....'?? Not really sure how this would have anything to do with money. In fact, if they didn't purge the OPs points, I suspect he would be more likely to continue to apply and pay fees, so that seems like it's the opposite of being about money. Oh well, good luck to OP and all others who get stung in any sort of way by this sort of thing.

Hard to tell without seeing the underneath of it's jaws. Rainbows and cuts often look very similar, depending on environment/conditions. But if/when you see the bottom of a cutthroat's jaw, it is unmistakable, IMO. No matter which species, that is one HEALTHY looking fish!

Nice job, Nick! Long drive from your neck of the woods (desert), but that scenery is always worth it.

Making more sense now..... From Investopedia: Like traditional 401(k)s, contributions are made directly from an employee's paychecks and the employer may match part of those contributions. Like Roth IRAs, the income taxes are paid on that money before it goes into the account, so withdrawals will not be subject to income tax down the line. It's a post-tax contribution, as with a Roth IRA. Still a GREAT option for those looking to max-out above and beyond the standard $22.5/$27K pre-tax limit.
-
That is a freaking huge deal and awesome, given the Roth designation allows for tax free growth. Gotta check that out with my plan admin to see if I have that option! ๐
-
Ya, I'm confused too, in that I thought Roth was limited to 'post tax' dollars, which the $20,500 ($27,000 for us old-timers) does not apply. IRS contribution limits apply to 'pre-tax' money. Possibly one of those those back-door Roth transfer-thingys that they've been trying to shut down. But I'm definitely NO tax advisor, nor would I purport that all 401K management firms are equal., so rock on!! ๐ค๐ Edit: 10-4 on Roth 401K vs. Roth IRA being different. Again, I'm no tax advisor.

Meanwhile, back to the program..... Two different friends reported card hits for elk overnight. FYI for those who were still hoping.

Oh boy..... Here we go. ๐๐

BIG +1 on this. If I got excited by a $40K daily upswing or bummed about a $40K daily drop in my 401K/IRA combo portfolio, I would go crazy. Dollar cost averaging + the magic of compound interest/growth is a very powerful thing in the long-term. Max-out the IRS limits in basically any domestic growth fund (or a combo of sectors, whatever...), and over time you will be fine.

Sort of interesting to me. Many outfitters have pricing posted on their websites. Maybe they just havenโt figured out 2022 pricing yet? Inflation, etc.? ๐ Oh well, whatever happens, good luck PRDATR! ๐๐ผ

When I wore glasses, I ended-up going with daily wear contact lenses. I found I was regularly frustrated with my glasses when sweat/fog would impede. I also wanted to be able to wear sunglasses on a regular basis, which prescription glasses of course prevented. (Tried transition lenses, but never really liked them...) Though contact lenses introduced a different level of inconvenience, they were still my preferred option when outdoors. That being said, I give a BIG +1 to JSR's comment. I had Lasik surgery over 10 years ago, and haven't looked back! (Yes, that's a pun... lol) My eyes are still 20/20. Good luck! S.

Two X $135 here. (Two out of three individual applications for my two sons and I. Fingers crossed for them! ) Good luck, everyone!
