Good boat, just a bit on the smaller side for a 1.5 day. The Old Glory will start trips here soon of overnight and 1.5 day. We've tended to stick with the Grande for full day trips. June and July are a bit early for consistent tuna bite. August - October are typically best in our experience.

Anyone have experience or success spot and stalk mountain lion hunting in southern AZ? I realize its more of a luck thing, but am looking for some tips on what areas/sections of the mountain to be looking at and what to be thinking about when looking for these elusive buggers. I spend most of November through January hunting coues deer down south, and have spent a tremendous amount of time glassing through the highest quality glass...I know where the deer are. After so many years I would have thought id find one by now... where are they hiding? I killed my November buck (110'') and will be helping a buddy these next couple weeks on his December hunt. I heard a lion scream a few times at last light in there in October so I know they're in there. Id love you thoughts and experience!

Excuse the shitty video but would you look at that, we glassed up a lion while looking for deer. Irony is he’s standing right where I shot my buck from the other day. Need to get my buddy his December buck then we will be after this cat. Other hunters said they say 4 cats in this canyon couple days ago.

I’m new to the site, so I haven’t read and don’t see where to read the full story... all I saw were those pictures idgaf posted. If he was shooting out of self defense than my opinion is different, nonetheless I probably wouldn’t post a pic of a wounded lion with an arrow in its face, but you’re allowed to do as you wish so I don’t really care
-
Yeah I’m with this guy, first off why/how did you shoot a lion in the cheek, and why are you proud of it... that should be a huge embarrassment for you

This website is interesting, and he sells some lion sounds that apparently work really well. A decoy too. Its like duck hunting!

That’s great to hear, and that’s a good bit of meat. Gets me excited!

Nice work! What method did you use to age her? From what I can tell that cat isn't more than 2 years old.
-
What kinds of sounds do you have the most success with? Anything other than a standard wounded rabbit call?

My grandpa is an 86 year old rancher in West Texas. He has pneumonia and was diagnosed with Covid in July. He was given Hydroxychloroquine at the hospital and he was sent home in less than 48 hours. He's doing better than ever. The people controlling our world are making decisions as to what treatments are legitimate and effective not based on how legitimate and effective they are. Instead we are told that the only viable option to control this stupid fuckin virus is to antisocialize, close businesses, wear a mask, and take our vaccine. Its ludicrous that we're not exploring repurposed medicine. Makes me suspicious as f*ck.

How'd she taste?

Great site I'm going to download some of those sounds and give them a try. Stay tuned for a pic of a big Tom.
