I've had no issues with mine to 1000, as STOMP said it's slow and gets beaten up by wind. I have a gun that shoots an honest 3/4 moa or slightly better, good but not great. I run a 20 MOA base to get it there. I havn't shot game with it that far by any means. But it is doable.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/04/13/is-harry-reid-involved-seven-answers-to-seven-questions-youre-probably-asking-right-now-about-the-nevada-rancher-situation/ Reid and his son, Rory, were both deeply involved in a deal with the Chinese-owned ENN Energy Group to build a $5 billion solar farm in Laughlin, Nevada. But that is roughly 177 miles away from Bundy’s 150-acre ranch in Bunkerville, Nev., and 213 miles from the federally owned Gold Butte area where Bundy ‘s cattle graze, according to Google Maps. But despite the Reids’ best attempts to secure the land for ENN, and despite the Bureau of Land Management expressing concerns that “trespass cattle” could complicate plans to use land in the Gold Butte area for “offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development,” it was all in vain: The Chinese company eventually shelved the project in June 2013 when it failed to find a customer. The deal is over and the proposed construction will not happen.

The United States gained the territory in 1848: Pre Bundy, Pre Nevada Statehood. The General Land Office ( now known as BLM) formed in 1849 under the Dept. of Interior, Pre Bundy, Pre Nevada Statehood. 1862 Homestead act (revised several times w/ regards to size of parcels) giving those who have never taken up arms against the government 640 acres. 1864- Nevada Statehood 1880's-Bundy's show up. Any guesses what document this is from? It's the Nevada State Constitution. All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for the protection, security and benefit of the people; and they have the right to alter or reform the same whenever the public good may require it. But the Paramount Allegiance of every citizen is due to the Federal Government in the exercise of all its Constitutional powers as the same have been or may be defined by the Supreme Court of the United States; and no power exists in the people of this or any other State of the Federal Union to dissolve their connection therewith or perform any act tending to impair, subvert, or resist the Supreme Authority of the government of the United States. The Constitution of the United States confers full power on the Federal Government to maintain and Perpetuate its existence, and whensoever any portion of the States, or people thereof attempt to secede from the Federal Union, or forcibly resist the Execution of its laws, the Federal Government may, by warrant of the Constitution, employ armed force in compelling obedience to its Authority. Bundy has produced no valid law or specific facts raising a genuine issue of fact regarding federal ownership or management of public lands in Nevada. Grazing on public land is a privilege, not a right.

Google: BLM OPERATION ROAM. I'm afraid that yank is full of it. Do you ever feel that you are ever being lied to from all media outlets? Maybe both sides are spewing fallacies right and left in order to gain acceptance for their cause. I for one think we are constantly getting half truths from both sides.

Been awhile since I've seen BMA, bump for a cool bow.

Scarpa, Lowa, la sportiva, all good rough country mountaineering boots

I would guess Safford is worse. As long as you shy away from having a full array of DeWalt power tools you should be ok, DeWalt is like tweaker currency.

Last time i was there the giant bluegill in the pond were killing me, all i could think about was watching a bobber dive.

Originally the plan was some from NM and some from a land locked piece by Prescott.

no worries here's some more options, some vbar (my preference) some offset rear bar setups http://www.lancasterarchery.com/bow-accessories/stabilizers/offset-bars-side-mounts.html?dir=asc&order=price and some more qd's http://www.lancasterarchery.com/bow-accessories/stabilizers/quick-disconnects.html?dir=asc&limit=90&order=price

any bar will work with their qd's and mounts
-
I use the dead center rear bar and qd's http://www.deadcenterarchery.com/store/store.php?crn=226&rn=448&action=show_detail They also have a riser mount option: http://www.deadcenterarchery.com/store/store.php?crn=224&rn=443&action=show_detail

So cows eating wild grasses now constitutes the pillaging of public land? If that is the case we really need to do something about all these pillaging elk and deer before they completely destroy our forests! Private cows eating our wild grasses without permitting, and leasing is pillaging. The land only has a carrying capacity of so much. Cattle are in direct competition with other grazers. I am not anti cow or anti rancher, I just want accountability on both parts when it comes to our public land. If a rancher pays, permit, leases a tract of land with an agreement, so be it. He was using a public asset to make a private monetary gain. Would you feel differently if your neighbors ranch cattle were on your ranch without permission, competing for feed with your stock for 20 years? I fear that if the Bundy's win, it will set a dangerous legal precedent or blueprint for other ranchers to follow on our precious resources. It will cement that the ranchers can "do what they will" on public owned land.
-
I do agree that all pillaging is wrong, however, two wrongs do not make a right.
-
This guy has been using public assets for private gain. I guess it's ok though if you're a blue collar rancher pillaging public land for two decades.

Mission Statement: The BLM's mission is to manage and conserve the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations under our mandate of multiple-use and sustained yield. Management is based upon the principles of multiple use and sustained yield of our nation’s resources within a framework of environmental responsibility and scientific technology. These resources include recreation, rangelands, timber, minerals, watershed, fish and wildlife, wilderness, air and scenic, scientific and cultural values. The BLM is not to cater to ranching alone.

The Eberlestock did not do well for me with really heavy loads (90-130 lbs+) I know I was asking a lot of it but it folded like a lawn chair. Whereas my badlands packs do not, they are certainly tougher than my knees.

Buy the best product for the mission that you can afford, period. Cheap products are rarely great and great products are rarely cheap. Tasco optics can get the job done but it's common for us to preach "buy the best you can" I don't know why we would scrimp on the actual items that knock a gobbler down when you consider everything else we buy and consider investments.
