so willing to give yours and others rights away.....what a shame, and when we lose them they wont ever be back
-
one must remember that bow hunters and rifle hunters are hunters alike, with the same rights. the antis need separation and weakness in our community of "hunters" to get what they want. i doenst matter what you "Pack" into the field we are all hunters and need to fight for our rights. i dont rifle hunt but ill try my best to keep those seasons open for you, because if one side falls it will only be a short time before the other side falls. it amazes me the willingness of people to give away thier rights exercised or not they are yours

How old is old enough to hunt?
elpepe25 replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
when i was a kid my old man had me runnin around in the wilds as early as i could walk. he taught me a lot tho, by the time i was 10 i was ready to go for the big stuff. I think it all depends on the kid/ upbringing. there are some 30 year olds i think are too immature to hunt big game and i was ready to hunt bird/small game when i was 6 or 7. n e ways a bear for a 5 year old is a bit much but better than not hunting at all -
i personally see no difference between the EL and SLC optically, i did like how light the ELs were and how comfy they were to hold

trail camera ?
elpepe25 replied to easymoney's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Couldnt hurt as long as its a really low intrusion, also if you have a portable card viewer, it'll give you something to do when sitting the stand or blind, you can toggle through all your pictures while you wait -

Ive had mixed results from the game and fish about keeping pickups. we had a bull elk skull confiscated from us because we couldnt "prove" that the elk wasnt taken illegally. The officers argument was that we may have disturbed a crime scene of an illegally taken elk. so i err on the side of caution when it comes to pickups of anything

i have one and they are a pain, i just do like the instructions say and when you fold it over try to roll one hand under the other (think palms up, clapping twisting motion, one hand over one hand under tho). i never ever get it like it was new outta the package, but i can make it fit in the stupid bag. Have you shot outta it yet, i found it to be a real tight fit and i have a 27" draw. i found that if i drew corner to corner then shift over to the window i was ok. also try to find a really low chair like a stadium seat so your level w/ the window and your not ducking to look outta it or shoot
