Chuck Norris does not love Raymond.

Chuck Norris has the worlds greatest poker face, he won the 1983 World Series of poker despite holding only a joker, a get out of jail free monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, a 7 of spades, and a green number 4 card from the game UNO.

And you owe chuck 5 bucks

Chuck Norris likes his meat so rare he only eats unicorns. Chuck Norris was born in a log cabin he made with his bare hands.

No non-tox shot needed craneregs.pdf Unlike waterfowl which clearly states the requirement for non-tox waterfowlregs.pdf -

Shoot lead, not held to shoot steel like waterfowl. Big lead like BB. Best of luck. -
Stokerized Ss1 is a side/back bar, right?

I've thought about it but weighted my options and decided against any lens. I don't want to worry about fog, rain, or dust on the lens. I've shot open for years in the target side of archery and its a royal pain in the rear to have a lens when the weather turns. However if it works for you, more power to you (pun intended).

What draw length?

I'll trade you a brick of .22 ammo, JK Bump for a premium pair of glass

Heavy holds steadier. The farther you can move the weight from the bow the better it resist rotational forces. We work hard for shot opportunities, a bow that holds steady helps me capitalize on the few I get.

I just bit the bullet and upgraded to the fuse blades a 15" front and a 10" rear.

would be good for bp or seasonal fire fighters

LMAO...you just made my barley pop come out my nose "penetration is overrated in the archery world" thats the funniest dumb thing I've ever heard! I'll take 12" of dirt penetration every day over my arrow getting packed off by any critter. Besides arrows are easier to find when they are stuck in the dirt...thanks for the chuckle Glad you got a kick out of it! Now maybe reread and try to understand the point. If a 400 gn arrow gives plenty of penetration to achieve the desired pass through, why go to a 500 gn arrow? To get more penetration and a slightly less noisy bow right? Please tell me what more of a pass through achieves for you? When hunting, Accuracy and arrow time in flight are far more important than over penetrating! Faster flatter arrows are more accurate. That is why target/3d shooters shoot IBO weight arrows. the only reason 3d folks shoot light is the lack of range finders to reduce estimation errors. I use a range finder. In all other venues of target archery they do not run IBO weight arrows to have the most forgiving setup from wind drift and other variables suck as kiss outs. Even in 3d they run the heaviest arrow they can at the speed they want to shoot. (ASA has a 297 fps Speed Limit) http://goldtip.com/newsdetail.aspx?id=73%20&type=1

so does an ample supply of poison...but it doesn't leave a blood trail

laws of physics just don't park at the rifle range. Ideal end state for me will always be a pass through.

What is your favorite bow brand? - archery market research
elpepe25 replied to JMP's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
The target world doesnt really mean much to hunters. Hunters out west need a bow that is fast, comfortable, and accurate to which Bowtech owns that market. The target world and hunting world should not even be mentioned in the same conversation as the bows are completely different. Yep speed kills, the most successful bowhunter ever Chuck Adams and first man to achieve the super slam did it with a real blistering setup. Aluminum arrows rocketing at 200-250 fps off of a 8" + brace height and a 40" axle to axle race car bow. Forgiveness is king. 90% of the quality innovation in any lineup comes from the target world. Direct testing and feedback from the best archers in the world. Most of them got into the target venue to become better archers for hunting: ala Randy Ulmer. A forgiving, accurate setup does not care what the target is, hide or spots or foam. Target archery and Hunting archery are indeed one in the same, putting arrows where we need them to be. The responsibility to deliver an accurate arrow is even more important in hunting. If more folk shot target archery, we might see an improvement in the culture, a culture of accuracy over compensation. Using the justification of "I don't kill foam" and target differing from hunting and applying same logic would be equal to saying you only practice on animals. Think its just a coincidence that Levi Morgan, Randy Ulmer, Tim Gillingham (Great taget archers) are shooting forgiving, moderate setups with longer axle to axles, longer brace heights on thier hunting rigs? -

Hoyt and Mathews may be "blown" away by most in the speed world, but they own the accuracy and comfort world. No one wins squat in the target world besides Hoyt, Mathews and a few PSE shooters. Can't miss fast enough to make up for forgiveness. -
I shoot winners choice and mine are "set" by 300 shots or less

I get day to day very slight changes in impact from form as well. If you notice that you are constantly having to change your settings as well as the tune you might be having stretch issues. By slight day to day stuff is to be expected. You can also take a sharpie or pencil and mark your cams where they intersect the limbs and create timing marks. If your setup changes (stretches) you will easily be able to determine it from the witness marks.
