Looking for some 204 ruger brass, new or once fired. PM me Scott

#4 or #2 buck (not shot) is the the only way to fly. Definitely go out and pattern your shotgun. Don't think just because you have a scattergun (shotgun) you can hit anything and everything....you won't and you can't! PATTERN YOUR SHOTGUN. I shoot Kicks Chockes. My chokes restrict the bore diameter by approximately 0.050-0.060". Their site makes recommendations and they are pretty accurate.

Need to sell an Eberlestock G3-Phantom that I don't use anymore. I paid $389 for it and have used it on 3 hunts. There is a tiny bit of wear on one of the back pads and a tiny amount of blood from a pack out. Asking $225 obo. I live in Eagar so if you are up here you can pick it up or pay for shipping.

looking to learn from a successful predator hunter
coues7 replied to MT_Sourdough's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Everything PRDATR said is spot on, although I do believe in cover scents, you will never and I mean NEVER outsmart the nose of a coyote! Wind is another important factor to take into account. Coyotes will always (99.9%) go down wind. Keep at it. -

share your hunting and shooting equipments here
coues7 replied to az-6.5-284's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Do you find that the 1600-b matches your ballistics? I've heard that is its downfall is it doesn't have the ability to load YOUR specific ballistics into it. I sure wish Gunwerks would tighten their angle of divergence....if they did it would probably be the best hunting rangefinder around. -
I think for everyone involved it is important to understand that we hunt PUBLIC land here in AZ. If someone besides MBAZ found this beautiful animal, knowing that no one else knew about it (always a chance of that...there is tons of secluded areas in AZ) and chose to talk about after which MBAZ found out about it and the location that is the risk people take by opening their mouths. The old adage goes "Loose lips sink ships". It is true and this may be a perfect example.

I didn't see anyone one comment, but "A good wolf is a dead wolf"......just sayin'

Congrats. Awesome and well deserved

I'd personally recommend you do it yourself. Seriously. Get on the internet and start reading. Get a gasket kit and I promise even someone with no mechanical skills can do it. Invest in yourself......its not the American way anymore, but it sure a heck used to be.....give it a try you might learn something.

AZ GROUND POUNDERS OCTOBER COUES BUCKS
coues7 replied to AZ Ground Pounders's topic in AZ Ground Pounders Outfitters Blog
What does it take to kill bucks of that quality year after year? I'm sure time is invested but there has to be another secret. Congrats. -
I can PROMISE you if you get this http://www.feisol.net/feisol-traveler-tripod-ct3441s-rapid-p-38.html not only will it fit you, it will be the BEST tripod you've ever owned or will own. I've had this tripod for 3 years and it is hands down the shortest (when folded), tallest (when unfolded) and lightest tripod around. It is the best $388 I've ever spent on hunting gear. This tripod is strong, sturdy, and robust. If you buy it and don't like it I'll buy it from you!

Look no further than the American Precision Arms (APA) Fat Bastard or Little Bastard Brakes. They are hands down the best brakes on the market

I have that brake.....best brake I've ever owned. To say that it reduces recoil is an understatement. That bad boy flat out works....
