MATT, I have the Swarovski rangefinder.....it is a bit bigger than the CRF1200 but will easily range out to 2000 yards. It's rated for 1500 but will easily do longer distances. It has a tripod mount on the bottom so you can be extremely accurate with it.....even though as Doug mentioned it does have a large aiming circle. If you need anymore input ont he Swarovski let me know. scott

Jimmy my hat is off to you man! Thanks again and glad you could be there. I'm sure this is the beginnings of a great friendship.

He taped out at 306 5/8" and was missing about 10-12" of horn which would put him at 318 5/8". I couldn't be happier either way!

I forgot to mention......the bull was aged at between 10-12 years of age. His G3 and G4 were busted from ruttin' hard. It appeared that if you matched his left to his right side that he is missing about 12-18" of hard horn. I couldn't be happier......I lucked out and got him on Saturday.....I think for all those guys still in the field it's gonna be a tough hunt.

Thanks Amanda.....I'm kinda embarrassed you saw that!

Absolutely amazing bull for a late rifle hunt. I know I shouldn't but curiosity kills the cat.....what unit? Tell him congrats that's an amazing bull!

I'd tell your friend to let the AZGFD know. COCHRANJ had it right.....you'll probably have the USFW all over you for the location but at the same time it would be great to help them out. As Doug said.....that's a special cat! I know that for the most part all the AZGFD and the USFW have seen is males....and that looks like a female (maybe?)

Great buck and nice shot. Are you guys using a GL2? -
Congrats. These are definitely a very additive deer. I think it takes some much effort, time and passion to get one, that it just begins to consume your thoughts!

He didn't scout.....now that he's in trouble with clients he's e-scouting here.

I think the full moon had more affect than anything. Bucks/does were still moving to bed between 9AM-2PM just like norm but they were in bed before the sun even came up cause they got to feed all night. Sleeping under the stars was hard for us......it was like a couple of night lights that you just couldn't turn off

I step forward and tell you I didn't get anything. We saw a total of 7 bucks in 35A in 2 1/2 days of hard hunting. I passed on a small 2x3 opening morning. Then shot and missed at a 3x? at 250 yards nearly straight down hill and missed. For the remainder of the hunt we only saw 2x2's and I figured I'd let em' live. Did see a decent buck on Sunday morning but there was no way to get to him and he fed out of sight and that was it. coues7

That buck looks like the one your wife killed......you mounted it and dragged it out there and took a picture didn't you? CONGRATS TO YOU AND ANDY BOTH!!!!
