    Which bino pack???

Ron can you post pictures of your modified system? I sure wish someone would come up with a system that did it all. I use the Mad Dog Gear Bino Manager and in general like it EXCEPT that the pouch on the front is to SMALL for the Swaro 10x50's.

    Trail cam methods!

What you just described is the exact recipe for getting your camera stolen! I have a couple of standing rule: 1. Don't put your camera out during hunting season. 2. Don't put your camera on "off the road" watering holes 3. Don't leave it out over the weekend (if possible) 4. If you insist on putting it on water holes put it on the trails leading to the water not directly one the water. None of these will gaurantee that your cam won't get stolen but living the previous rules will help keep your camera a "little" safer. Scott

    Which Spotter

If birders are the judge......which I'd say they smoke us hunters on day to day use, it looks that they prefer the Swarovski to Zeiss 50:1. I've been told by a few of the optics dealers when telling them that I'm willing to spend the money for a Swarovski, that always seems to be the one they recommend OVER all others..... When it comes to 65mm vs 80mm.....the 65 can't touch the 80 when it comes to magnification (as I understand it). It would seem that with the 20-60 eye piece simple math tells me that the 80mm trumps the 65mm. I guess I'm not so much concerned with weight as I am magnification. In talking to a few of the optics dealers the one down side to the Kowa is that it is NOT rubber armed.....but the birders seem to love it. Leica is way out of my price range.
  6. Absolutley AWESOME buck!!! Congrats.

Troy and Mark, Congrats to both of you for your hard work!!! A well deserved buck.
  11. HATCHET WAS AN AWESOME BOOK.....I ready that one too.
  12. Broc, I think your making the RIGHT decision. Who cares about a record book.....it won't get anything but a bunch of questions about the unit and area you harvested the buck in.....in my opinion not worth it

    Rifle Scopes?

Parallax is important....BUT.....with that being said there was a guy out a 3 points a few months ago winning the 1000 yard match with NO parallax. No one could figure out how it he was. Go with the best scope you can afford and if you can't get a "good" one right now save your pennies until you can. Scott

    Rifle Scopes?

Leupold and Zeiss get my vote. If you have a 300 WSM you may as well get a scope with turrets. I shoot both Nightforce and Leupold's. You can get the VX3 and have Leupold add the turrets so that it is similar to the Mark IV.
  25. Video Chris Matthews is such a tool!
