That video is in fact mine. We were down by Douglas for our left over hunt. As soon as we got to camp, I noticed a javelina over near the corral where we setup camp. When my hunting buddy arrived a few hours late I pointed out that there had been javelina in camp. He's originally from Wyoming and had never seen a javelina before. A little while later the same javelina wondered over near camp again so he took a few pictures. We never thought about it much until we went to bed. My dad took a few bottles of water to the tent so we wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night.....that's when we realized it is a bad idea to leave the tent door unzipped. For the remainder of the hunt, any time we were in camp so was "Dorothy". Our only assumption was that the ranch hands had raised it from a piglet. She would walk right up to us and want to be petted. Pretty cool either way!

Jason, What does AZ have that you like? I'm going to put in for NM for the first time this year..... -
I got this rifle all ready for a build and decided to go another direction. This is a brand new Remington Model 700 SPS Varmint chambered in 308 Win. I removed the 40x trigger and replaced it with the older style truly tunable 700 triggers and added the HS Precision black/gray web stock. The rifle cost $575, the stock was $250 and the trigger was $85 (tuned to 2.5 lbs). I think I still have the old tupperware stock if want that too. I'm asking $800 even + shipping. I'd prefer if someone just picked it up and I'm firm on the price.....I'm already loosing money. The HS Precision stock has a small (and I mean small chip) just in front of the bottom metal. This rifle is BRAND NEW UNFIRED IN PERFECT CONDITION. Just my $0.02 but this is a smokin' deal. The rings and bases shown are NOT included. Thanks, Scott

Has anyone used the KUIU backpacks? I'm considering picking one up and dumping my heavy a$$ Eberlestock. -
Congrats on a great buck Brian. Great mass and length all the way out. Scott

Any good tripod will work fine. I found that with the rifle railz and/or the gun claw/triclawps that a good head makes a world of difference. If the mount that holds these aids moves your crosshairs move.....it's that simple.
-
The rifle-railz can mount to any tripod plate and/or mount. I mounted mine to one of my Manfrotto plates so it can quickly be mounted to the tripod head. They are extremely light and an all-a-round AWESOME product.

What camera are you using? What zoom? Great video.
-
All I've been able to find out about the unit is that there is LOTS of private ground. I'm hoping we'll be able to find someone who will let us in.

Anyone know who the guide/handlers were?

Happy Birthday Brian. I hope you have a fun and enjoyable day!

What map are you using?
-
always, Always, ALWAYS run in UTM.....Universal Transverse Mercator. All the USGS Topo maps are in UTM. The coordinates down the side and bottom are in 1000 meters. Set your GPS to whatever NAD is listed likely 1927. You should be spot on.
