The guy that did mine here in Phoenix left them in. He did a tremendous job. 11 1/4 inch beard + 3/4 inch spurs + 26 lb bird + 40 yard shot with my bow = turkey hunt of a life time . Good lick with your mount.

Hunterdude, don't worry fanboy up there Still waiting on that video by the way CnS... I just bought a Bowtech Guardian and it's the best bow I've ever owned. Once i get all the bling on it, I'll post some pics. I don't know anything about Parker however. I agree with kevink. When I was ready to buy a new bow, I went to every shop and shot all of their demos. It took me darn near a month until I was satisfied with my research. The best one for me was the Bow Tech tribute. It was the smoothest quietest flatest shooting and the least amount of jump out of all the others, with the switchback a close second. I can't say enough about it. But the bottom line is shoot as many bows as many times as you can and pick the bow that fits you the best.

Here are my two that I felt were worthy of mounting (go ahead with the jokes about beastiality). I too have the other 12-13 Euro Coues in a box in my carport. My wife is not thrilled with the thought of mounting my Javi from this January, but I am still working on her. The Turk. I got in 3C with my bow at 42 yards he was a beast, 11 1/4 inch beard and 7/8 inch spurs, 23 pounds, and as soon as I can figure out how to download them I will post. The coues scored 93 inches (thats with me scoring it) I have been told that he could be a little bigger than that. -
This is a pic of my biggest Coues . He was about 93 inches before and 89 after. Taxidermist was Wellers wildlife studios, the best there is. With all of us Youngs bringing in our deer every year, he's livin large off of us.

This thing has never been out in the field, only to the range, approx 80 rounds through it. Custom thumb-hole stock, glass bedded, muzzle break, decelerator recoil pad, NC Star 6-24x50 rangefinding tactical scope, bi-pod, hard case and many custom reloads (168gr - 180gr). I figured I give the fellas (and Ladies) of CWT first dibs, I saw how many of us were drawn this year and this is the canon that will get the job done. $1995.00 obo.

I was drawn for the November Archery Bull tag in 22 North. I have never drawn there before, I usually just drive through there on my way to 27. Anyone out there know what I can expect as far as the quality of the bulls I will encounter. Am I going to need to shoot the first bull I see, or should I hold out for big daddy? I will be making many trips up there the next eight months, but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.

Negative. I was in the field the whole time. I stopped at DQ for the little woman on the way out of town. I would like to meet up with you next time and buy you some Chicken fried steak. Are there typically that many people on the mountain. every where I went there were quads. Just as I thought that I was deep enough in towards the rim there was a quad trail with quads on it. There was more sign of elk than I expected but not one found. Do you know if these elk are resident herds that are held up from all the friggen quads or are they migratory herds just moving back up top? Don't give away all your secrets, just wondering if I am spinning my wheels looking for elk this time of year. The herd we hunt in 27 are typically there only during the rut, there's not one elk in the Canyons we hunt until about August then it's full of some of the biggest bulls around. Wondering if this is the same situation here. Thanks again. Carl

Unbelievable advise guys thanks for all of it. I am going to hit it hard this weekend trying to find my bearings along the Unit's border lines, so if you see a fatboy in a red Tacoma with a beautiful blonde tell him to please return my wife . My wife and I will be out there, maybe I will see some of you guys out there.

Archery Bull Baby!!!! Either 27 or 1. After nine years of gettin skunked it's finally here. -
I have seen the cat he is talking about in 36C. A buddy and I were quail hunting about two miles north of the border. We spotted him longer after he saw us, he was scootin up the far side of the canyon we were in, after we had just shot at some birds. It was quite a sight. He was much bigger than I thought they were. He seemed to be six to seven feet long with shorter legs than a Mt. lion. It is a sight that I won't soon forget.

Hello my name is Carl and I'm a couesaholic. Much like AA I turn to this forum for my coues fix. I can't wait to post my stories here for all to enjoy. In the mean time I will include a couple of Pics of one of me and my brothers more successfull hunts. I've read a lot of peoples stories and the problems of posting Pics, I hope I can down load them. These two deer were taken in unit 34A on the December hunt within 45 seconds of each other. I shot my 3 X (94 inches) at 350 yards and after I shot, four more bucks ran out and straight away, my brother shot the biggest of the four at 375 yards on the run, it was a 4 x 3 (83 inches) enjoy the Pics.
