Good luck. I sure hope the person that found it will report it. It might also be worth a call to BP. Down there it is just as likely there is one more armed Illegal or drug mule.

Awesome job! Conrats on you Success. any more to the story? Details...Tell us More!

WOW...I have to tell you I had to think a long time before posting to this one. I agree (as I think everyone involved here does too) there is no excuse for shooting at a second animal when there is even a possibility you may have fatally or non-fatally wounded another. However, I also believe as much as we can learn from each others successes, we can learn from other's failures. That is after all why it was posted. Right? If others are going to learn from it I think now that Team Jesus has had some more time to look at the events. maybe he could share what he has learned and what he feels he could have done differently rather than everyone else telling him... . In reading the originating post I did sense that while no fines or penalty was given, it sounded like Team Jesus did man up and was willing to take resposibility for his actions and wether what was done was right, wrong or debatable, that alone is respectable. And Chris (Bro) time to take your meds... JK man! I know how passionate you are.

This year my buddies and I again got left over Tags in 36b. This year however we chose the Oct. hunt. It was a fantastic time but making it extra special was that my father joined us on this one. We ended up 3 for 6. Going into Camp this year there were four hunters that had never taken a buck and after it was over there is but one member of the "no buck" club. He, My Father, and I will have tag soup this year, but this was by far one of the most enjoyable hunts I have ever been on. It was a little ironic that my buddy who would have been pefectly happy with a spike ended up with the biggest buck of the group with a heavy horned and wide 3x2. Congrats to those others that have had success and good luck to those yet to head out! Wade

Martha's Vineyard

You know what gets me is over the last couple years scouting and hunting down south is of the dozens of trips I have made I always seem to run into some "Samaritan" group out there supplying water and even blind "calling" out to illegals to help them along their journey...This really pisses me off. while I would never deny any human water if they were in need (along with a call to BP) in fact I would do anything to save a life. But these do-gooders are only encouraging and aiding illegal activity and imo putting more lives in danger with their actions. Stop them and when the crossers realize they arent there to supply help then they may just try to enter legally or not at all. And those individuals and businesses that continue to hire illegals knowingly OR NOT. Need to pay a higher price! Ok that is all I have to say 'bout that -
around 13 I got my first Javi... I went on my first hunt when I was 11 and had a perfect chance at a 4x4 mulie at 80 yards but Dad couldnt see the rack!!! until it was a$$ to us and on the run...Since then I had only gone once or twice more until my mid 30s. and at the age of 38 (last year) I got my first Deer. At which time I finally forgave my father Wade

White Mountain Apache Tribe Elk Hunt

+1 if you can hunt NW of Bog Tank... -
Hunters were doing this long before Elmer Fudd was created and it will likely continue long after no-one knows who Elmer Fudd is. What really irks me is when I am out there driving one of the many forest roads where I usually see large numbers of large Bulls/Bucks just to see some dang foot hunter hiking through my area or sitting on a hill. JK...I actually agree with CouesAZ but since he spoke so well, I thought I would add a little more for entertainment value.

Unit 21- HELP !!!... First time in Unit
WadeNAZ replied to Michael1's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
nice one Josh. And Heck yeah you can have fun that is what I am doing. just at a different target Seriously though Michael when your first and only post is requesting information on a unit there are bound to be guys out there playing with you and it is to be expected I suppose. Look at it as an initiation of sorts. Read the topics here and get out there and share your experiences. With the exception of corn baggers and jealous guides (just kidding all) there are a bunch of good guys that share interests. All in all a very cool and interesting folk. Peace all.. -
Unit 21- HELP !!!... First time in Unit
WadeNAZ replied to Michael1's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
OK, I'll share with you. You get into the unit and find this dirt road. Go down it to where it's washed out and pick your way through the washout. There's a great big mountain on your right , but don't hunt that one. It's all mulies. You keep going another 3.47 miles and there is a barrel cactus on your right with the yellow fruit on it. (They love this stuff) Now park just around the bend and hike up that draw. When you get to where the two washes come together take the right fork about a quarter of a mile and then hike uphill to the bench above the creek. Now there is a big mesquite there and it's a good place to have your morning movement. (make sure you put the paper under the small flat rock. The small one, not the big one, there's a present under the big one) Now about a hundred yards up the hill is a ledge which is a real good place to set up your big glass. Now look across the drainage and you'll see some thick brush. It's fairly open below this down to the wash. The secret here is that there is a seep down there and the deer will go across the open area from the cover to water. Now I've never personally seen a deer here but it sure looks like it has potential. EBB that's the best description of how to get to 21 ever, but its actually spot on. except by the time October gets here there might be one or two more washouts... an the lil yellow fruits might be getting dried up. also the little rock may also have been used My Friend... I think you are mistaken, that is the directions to the bear finding spot, not the coues finding spot. To get to the deer, you go 7.43 miles past the washout and there is a barrel cactus on your LEFT with the yellow fruit on it.  Are you completely sure about the 7.43 miles and the barrel cactus location???? I have looked at the other site and the directions I gave were exactly what they sent me when I drew the tag, and asked about where to hunt! You don't think they were Joshing me do you? EBB As you can see dont look for much more than a bunch of $hit when you ask about a unit. you might get some good input to get you started by a couple folks but generally the freaks come out and thier panties get all buched up. I have never hunted 21 so I am just as much help to you as the others quoted above... Good luck to you though, and if Terry has info for you use it. -
Congrats on a fine buck! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome. Congrats to you on a Solid buck!! Thanks for sharing your story.
