You all are awesome... Thanks for all the kind words... I love this board! Everyone here seems to be a great bunch of people that hunt hard and enjoy the wilderness as much as I do... Again... Thank you

We stayed high and hunted above 12,500 the whole time... Over 148 miles and 28,000 vertical feet during the hunt! Here's more on the hunt and more pictures: http://graylightproductions.com/forum/view...?f=18&t=200 http://graylightproductions.com/forum/view...?f=21&t=203 On a side note... Great job Steve... Congrats to the hunters!!!

Eric, There's definitely a problem down there but not large enough to get you to stop hunting there other than a little sarcasm from fellow hunters to thin out the hunters lol. I too hunt it and many friends of mine hunt it. Lock your camp up, carry a side arm and keep your wits about you.... You should be just fine. Some buds of mine have been hunting these units longer than I've been alive and while it's gotten a lot more activity in the recent years... They have yet to have a conflict or violent event, let's hope it stays that way. Good luck this year! Marlon

+1 on the blazers.... Great way to fletch, no doubt...

Sounds like you could be torquing your bow at the shot... Make sure you're not dropping your bow arm at the shot and make certain you are not gripping the bow. Let it press against the meat between your thumb muscle and palm. The bow should fall forward at the shot without you grabbing for the bow. If you notice your bow twitching right or left torsionally at the shot... Fix that first, then move on from there... Just a possibillity, maybe not. I hope it helps...

I know there are as many opinions out there as there are broadheads... For what it's worth, Innerloc's are tough and shoot straight!

So.... Everything is gone aside from 4 hats and the camera.... Thank you to everyone who found these items useful! Have a great season and let me know if you need the hats or camera!

I have several items up for sale, If anyone likes them I'll ship them on the house when the check arrives:) The bowbag you see is a unique custom bag I had made as a prototype, it was rediculously expensive.... $400 to be exact! I only want $45 for it. It will fit a Mathews Drenalin or DXT with 5 arrow quiver, has holes through it to carry it on your backpack. The camo hats are unstructured in Max-1, New never worn, I'll take 40 for all of them or $10 a piece. The little Badlands bad is a prototype, it is made for a rangefinder or camera. This bag closes via strong magnets pretty cool, I'll take $20 for it. The Swarovski mount is self explanatory... $20 The Blackridge bad is a Badlands made bag just their less expensive line. It is a used once, new bag that I'd take $45 for. The sony cybershot is a 5.1 megapixel camera that is in perfect condition, I'd take $50 for it. Okay, that'll do it!....

Yes, The camera is still up for sale.... The backpacks are sold pending payment... I will let you know if the packs are not sold in a day or so.
-
The swaro's are not for sale...... I would ask too!!!
-
Jared, Are you still interested in the 2800? The other pack just sold.
-
Dub Tee, It's not sold yet.... Money talks... you know the rest! If you want it lemme know...
-
DubTee, I also have a Badlands 2800 up for grabs too. It was used for one season and hauled one deer out. The pack is in perfect condition and maintains the factory lifetime warranty. Sell it for $120 As far as the Blackridge, I think it's sold.... Not sure yet... In any event I apologize as I don't have any more pic's to post at the moment. It is a great strong bag though. Here's a pic of the 2800.

I have a two year old Sony Cybershot 5.1 Megapixel point and shoot. Perfect for the back pack! I paid $399.99 for it, also has a 500 mb memory card good for at least 250 hi res pictures and a battery. All wires and dock included. $120.00 or best offer. I just got a new one same make and model just the 7.1 and it ran me $499.99, I can't wait to use it!

Ok... bump... anyone want to make an offer I'm open.

You guys are awesome and thank you for the kind words... I just want to share with you all and contribute. I am so entertained throughout the year by all of your stories. I'm glad to be able to add to this site! Brian, Thank you bro.... I hope you and Scott get the opportunity to put that buck down you had spoken of. Hopefully next year we can meet up and spend some time behind the glass together!

Well, I have been trying to get everything back in order since I got back into town. However, I had a great hunt in Arizona! We were lucky enough to stay at a ranch house, which made my wife incredibly happy and I can't complain either. I noticed this year that the does were not in the large groups that I usually see. There were however single bucks running around searching for does and from what I saw none of the does had gone into estrus yet. I didn't see any breeding or bucks hanging around unless I just missed it or maybe it was all nocturnal... Just guessing! anyway, I shot this guy on the fourth day at 30 yards. He was on the move and stopped right in front of me staring at me. I picked my spot and released however, he was already moving and I hit him further back than I would have liked, quartering forward on his left side coming out the right ham. I was fortunate to hit his liver and femoral artery "lucky shot" and he went down 50 yards away! I can't believe it happened as quick as it did and I am very appreciative of this great buck. I always love going down to the desert, it really is a gorgeous place in January and I wished I could have spent some more time down there. We stuck around a couple more days just because and then cut the trip short. I am looking forward to the next time I am able to go down there. My buddy got a buck too but he has the pic's. I had told my Dad that I would take him again this year as I did last year if I didn't tag out. As it went, he was excited for me but bummed not to be going again! I told him that it's just him and I in 2010, that cheered him up! So I am looking forward to getting him back out and away from the city! He is really a 6x6 with his cheaters and 26" wide. Not sure on the score maybe 160 ish. I hope you guys enjoy the pics...

Klumpish........ That's funny right there.

Scott, Congratulations on getting your goat... That's too bad about the cape and meat! He has some awesome character and great mass! Good job with the stick n string... We gotta get together again this January... Maybe we will chase some carp!
-
Okay.... I have a window mount 50 bucks to the first bidder. New, never been used, free UPS shipping.
-
Maybe it was the land owner.... OR... a guide or another hunter that was trying to scare you off of his pre scouted monster and didn't want you to find him! Either way... Sounds like he riled you boy's up a bit! Good luck.
