First time its happened in all the years ive been hunting.

No news for new hits, however my charge for the elk hit that was there yesterday is now gone.

dang! My buddy just got his 3rd pronghorn tag in 3 years! Talk about luck. Keep in mind this is for the hopi tag in 5b.

Either my wife or I got hit for elk. If its her, this will be her first time hunting!

Ive been bouncing between 21 and 22. Havent seen any rut action at all

There was a lot of bugling towards the end of the day. Lot of small groups of elk scattered around. Just couldn't make it happen. Ran out of day light.

Was in 5bn cow hunting, got stuck but was able to get out.

Tillman was a nfl player before he was a Ranger, was already in the spot light. He was also killed by friendly fire. Kirk on the other hand pretty much has received full military honors as well as a flight on Air Force 2. Im not the only combat veteran that feels this way. Its just an insult to combat veterans who have fought and died in combat.

Not to sound negative, but I find it disheartening that decorative combat veterans who have died in combat receive less recognition than a politician.

Spent 3 more days in 5bn. I heard one bugle Saturday morning. Didnt see a single elk though.

I was hunting deer.

Just spent 2 days in 5BN there's a little rain here and there. Its still fairly dry though. Saw very little elk.
