Beginning reloading??
GameHauler replied to coueschaser3's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
When I was getting started the most common and best advise I kept getting was to buy 2 of the top reloading books and read them front to back before you spend any other money. It was and is good advise and will give a better understanding of what components you will NEED and than WANT. -

Need to know the worth of a Rem. Mod.# 740 in 280 Cal. That is all I know about the gun at this point.. Anyone have one with likes/ dislikes? Also, while I am at it what is the best way to get gun values without buying a $50.00 book which will be outdated after tonight. Thanks

Tim, I agree that is a very nice set up But DANG they are way to proud of it For that kind of money I can set my radial arm saw up and make a couple 45*cuts in a 4X4, cut the center out, Add a well nut and be done for $1.50 I think you know I am not a cheap a$$ but I aint paying their price for that.

Here is the Stoney Point head I set Linnea up with this year And the Jim White support I used for my Contender. This was such a SWEET set up. With the flat base of my forend I was able to just let the pistol sit on the pod pointed out the window of my blind. I had 3 bucks come in opening morning and was able to just touch the grip to move it as the Buck moved around looking thru the EER scope

By the way. When you click on Amanda's link The home page that comes up is C'n'S pedestal mount and my Ram. Thank you Clay but your work and choice is what put it there. He is not a BOOK Ram, BUT the MOUNT is of BOOK Quality By the way How should I clean the saliva off of his nose from kissing him goodnight

Very nice post for Clay Amanda This man is a true Artist and I am Very happy with the work he has done for me. When I harvested my Desert Bighorn I knew it was going to go to Clay. I walked into his shop with photos of my (SMALL) trophy room and explained how i wanted the full body mount to be positioned. He understood at once and did the Mount even better than than I thought it would be. Since my Ram I have had him do a shoulder mount for FirstGirls first WT and a Euro of Linnea's Bull last year. TOP NOTCH WORK His Biology background really shows up with veins and muscle Showing how they should be. Allot of Taxi's just do not have that ability to produce that and create a smooth hide. Some Like (expect) that, I don't Here are a couple of pics. I hope Coues'n'Sheep will add some of his

Very nice Deer Tom I am happy for you. I am sure you worked hard for it. And as always, trying to make Leonard's hunt the best possible. Not going to say anything about 3 Lions without the aid of dogs. Congratulations

I might have to change my name to 'firstcoueswas100" I have to get the film developed and get a picture cd. The only digital camera left in the house is broken, so I had to take my proffesional film rig. -

So what happens if......
GameHauler replied to bowsniper's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Sure hope yer right Lark. What if obama gets elected and something happens to him while hes in office, that would prolly set off more than just riots. I will be very surprised if he makes term. The only right choice he EVER made was not picking Hiltery for VP. He would not have made it 6 months. Just a quick edit. I would like to see the figures to PROTECT this P.O.S. compared to past Presidents . -
