2008 November Archey Elk Hunting Opion Survey
GameHauler posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Has anyone else received this survey? I find it interesting as they may be trying to listen to us or just another tool to pull the sheet over our eyes by giving another chance for the less experienced hunters to make comments without much background. This is pretty much the same type of survey they did with the Deer that has most of us upset and are looking for unjustified backing. I can scan and post the survey tomorrow so everyone can read it. At this point in time I am saying this is a crock of honey that spoiled before it got out of the hive. -
Good job Brian Nice Buck Only 365 days before you can hunt Deer again in AZ.

Alum. or Carbon? If he breaks it off at body line and stops cutting him every time he hits a branch he could survive for the rest of his natural life. Be positive bud As much as I love to SLAM them to the ground (no Tracking) I do enjoy the tough track (I know, But I enjoy it if it is not below 40@ )
-
Good and not so good sign. The buck is still alive (good sign) Get back out there in the morning. Hope you flaged every thing. (I like tp on the ground) Smell, Look, Listen. There is more to tracking than looking for blood. Go in quite and if you can't find him bring in the troops. Even a hung over partier might stumble onto something Best of luck to you

One-Ten or nuthin', Buddy!!!
GameHauler replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
That Buck did not stand a chance with the pack of dogs that were after him. Even without the Golden Ticket along. (Guess he is only good for Elk ) When you count in the B-Dog, The little Pit Bull Tique and the big UG Dog. How could he get away Great job guys and way to stay with it. That is one heck of a Buck Congratulations to all. My guess is 1*& and +/8 bet I'm right -
Where did you shot him C.A. if it's within 2 miles of my home I would love to help (just kidding) What unit, if you want to share. Some members may be willing to go help you. Again, best of luck

TJ is right. Get people out there. The good, bad or ugly. Go to where you shot him and tell the story. Go to the last blood and tell the story. I followed what TJ told me for a while and came back and though about what Tom told me. I know the deer did not go far but we were not looking in the right direction (Excitement will clog your mind) I went on my gut feeling and within 10 minutes I found the Deer. Best of luck and get the best you can out there. (or anyone, Dogs a +)

Thank you Chad for your reply. I think you have a good product and would like to give it a try. But I still feel it is over priced. Most of us realize the cost of tooling and setting up a business but most companies hope to reclaim that cost in 5 years not one. Sorry and again GREAT idea. Drop it to $99.99 and sell the crap out of it. (maybe) My$.02 Best of luck and maybe you could donate one to the 08-09 contest so you could get another review or two. OH NO bad idea I can't win it Send one to me for review

Don't tell me Troy bought them

MY BEST DAY OF HUNTING EVER!!!
GameHauler replied to shortpants's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Good job Shorty. Nice Buck -
I personally like the ATS better as I find it more comfortable to have my head angled down, especially if glassing up hill. The draw back is it can be harder to acquire you target.

Win a Covert II Trail Camera!!
GameHauler replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Amanda, I think this contest was a hit I have not read it since page 3 but with 243 post it must be going well. Heck if everyone who guessed sent CWT $1.00 that would really help pay for the Camera and support the forum. Just a thought. $1.00 on the way Amanda -
The Heaviest Element Yet Known to Science
GameHauler posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Lawrence Livermore Laboratories has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from four days to four years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2- 6 years; It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of . promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.
