Just got my dies for my 204 Ruger today and started to resize. Those little bugers are the toughest brass I have ever resized. Not to the point to have a hammer laying on my bench to do it like Casey (there are pictures) as I do have case lube but takes more force than anything else I have done. I don't know if it is because of the gun the owner of the once fired brass came from or if the 204 uses extra thick brass or what. Even the expansion is tough. Anyone else experiences this?

+1 And fish tastes, well, fishy

Thanks Casey, The die is just touching the shell holder and the pressure starts way before the bottom of the stroke Probably about a quarter of the stroke left. What really surprises me is the force needed to expand, making me think it is really thick brass. Once fired Hornady factory loads. I still do not have any bullets to see how they feel seating. Somebody sale me some 32gr V-max's please

After Ermesto's post I may jump. No I will stay here at home mainly because it is to hard for me to be away from the shop.I did make some changes though for my later choices but don't expect anything from them. Bighorn I was forced to change units since the eliminated my choices.

Interesting Bullet Expansion Test
GameHauler replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Tam, you pretty much said what I was thinking. Jack, your on a fence allot of people are walking. I want to expend ALL the energy into the animal. I can track a blood trail but would rather walk over to where that animal was slammed to the ground and retrieve it. Much better than looking at the impact spot of the bullet in the dirt and then try to find a blood trail for who knows how far. Archery is a different game and yes, give me a pass through and lots of blood. Thanks Doug for the post. -

I call BS I think it is the government changing things to suit their needs. There is just to much going on with GPS right now for me to think anything less. Why are the census workers marking your homes on GPS? Even others (Government workers) walking up to your front door and marking it It is all apart of a plan to RULE the people of America. I have read stories of Employees crossing posted sings to mark your front door and others that mark your locked gates but with Google Earth ect. they can pin point you. Times are Scary my friends and we need to be aware of what is going on around us. Why do you think they made it mandatory for all cell phones to have a GPS locater in them? To help you in an emergency? Come on, it is to know exactly where you are 24-7 The phone does not even have to be turned on. It's time for the Sheeple to wake up. Again: Anyone who voted for (the bought in) Obama needs to punch themselves in the mouth every morning Sorry, I have never been political or worried about our future, But I really am now

Navy Petty Officer Mike Monsoor PO2 (EOD2) (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Mike Monsoor, a Navy EOD Technician, was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for jumping on a grenade in Iraq , giving his life to save his fellow Seals. (Note: Mike was not a Navy SEAL, he was EOD. He gave his life to save a group of Navy SEALS) During Mike Monsoor's funeral in San Diego , as his coffin was being moved from the hearse to the grave site at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, SEAL's were lined up on both sides of the pallbearers route forming a column of two's, with the coffin moving up the center.. As Mike's coffin passed, each SEAL, having removed his gold Trident from his uniform, slapped it down, embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin.

Obama's Citizenship Questioned Again
GameHauler posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I do not have any links to provide to this but thought you may like to read this Email. Obama Faces More Questions on Citizenship April 1, 2009 AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration’s efforts to move the country in a new direction. Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned”, leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the U.K. In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president. Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr.Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter. -
Obama's Citizenship Questioned Again
GameHauler replied to GameHauler's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Thanks for setting the record straight Bill. I do not like him but also do not want to post untruths. As a Very wise and respected man has said: " If you voted for Obama, you need to punch yourself in the mouth every morning" -
I heard 60,000 attended and 6000 at the banquet, the largest banquet ever held in Phoenix.
