I was just thinking about the refund checks from AZGFD that I will likely be receiving in the mail soon What if the Dept allowed you to let them keep the permit fees for next years draw so all you would have to do is come up with the application fee and any deference in permit fees. It is not a big deal to me about coming up with the money each year because I have a separate account that I use only for this and other hunting related items when I have the extra above what stays for permits. I think this could be a win/win for both the hunter and the Dept. The hunter would not have to worry about coming up with funds each year (You already spent the $, Pretend it's not there) and the Dept could earn a little interest off of it. You are helping wildlife and they have a few extra bucks to work with. This could also help with hunter retention since some would be able to put in again that may not be able to because of unforeseen $ problems. Another point guys (Gals) you would not have to ask your spouse about having to come up with the $ when they always need it for more important things, LIKE THE MORTGAGE Just a thought, let us know what you think. I know there will be those to say BS, I can earn the interest ect.

I have not played with them but it sure seems like it would be a pain to get them aligned just right and then any time you wanted to change the power you would have to do a bunch of screwing around. With all the Camera's being stolen I was curious where most are being taken from. We can start this with Regions first and then narrow it down to Units in the Regions with the most thefts.

Before you disregard your Berger loads take them out to 200-300yds and check groups. there are many that feel it really takes the Bergers a couple hundred yards to stableize. Even with a unstable bullet at 100 yds grouping like that is meat on the table. They really shine at long range

Another thought Dads We are paying for the permits for our kids and love to be doing it BUT Leave the money there and when they get to the age like my kids and no longer pay for the permits as they are old enough to do it on there own (YA RIGHT) they have the funds there to continue without asking for the $
