I have to ask WHY again The Dept. is not all bad. Yes I agree the opportunity over quality BS needs to stop NOW if they want to retain hunter retention as many are feed up and choose to say screw AZ, I will apply out of state. Will their recruitment efforts make up for their retention loose efforts? I say NO as the best recruiters are the true hunters who introduce someone new to our beloved sport. We have a new branch starting in the Dept. that is for this recruitment and retention of hunters and this is a good thing as we are growing weaker in % as apposed to the anti's and non hunters who can be swayed either way Pay attention, Be informed, tell them what you think and we may be heard. Bashing them will not do a bit of good and only make them turn a deaf ear

Do you take trades and deliver to Payson?
-
That sounds a little iffy I'll talk to my buddy about that but as I stated before, you pretty much have 48 hours to recover unless they know you have been out every day trying to recover it. I think that rule is in affect because of the scenario that you just posted. Not judging or meaning bad, just replying

Right shoulder surgery they are telling me 6 Months before I can shoot I did do the same thing on a turkey tag and the day after surgery I was at camp

Time was up Guys Amanda, when do we hear who the winner is? "118 3/8, saludos Beto T. " "110 1/8 Effenjeff"

If I was not having surgery Friday I would buy the tag as much as I hate the idea of going to Old Mexico. I know! nothing to worry about but had a good friend robed at gun point coming home from obregon (sp) and can not get that out of my mind.

Sorry for your families loss Brent. Prayer sent for your Uncle and strength to all of you.

Sounds like Skeeter

Congratulations. Looks like a hard place to take care of one. Hope it was down hill to the truck.

For me they are but you may be fine with it. I will be out of service for a bit unless I go help someone just to glass. If you want to give the setup a try shoot me a PM and if I can, you can borrow them. I will be helping my Daughter the last week of Oct into the first week of Nov. and have high hopes of being apart of my Coues tag I donated to a youngster with special needs. More I think about it I would not be using this set up unless I borrowed the head for one of the other setups.

Maybe I should not have brought that up for you to reply to since no posts have been made since That is a tough one to top but come on guys, you have to have some good stories This is a great topic, keep it going. Did anyone hear that Lady Di was killed in a car accident V V V V V V V V V You may not use those words on this site TJ

I totally agree if your critter is running around it is OVER and I think most thought/meant one that is laying there with their liver or what ever killing them in a slow death. It is the suffering that EATS at you if you have ever wounded one.

My lite weight pack in set up is a Slik Sprint Mini with the Slik SBH-100 head and Jim White pan head. I love this set up but would try to stay with my Swaro 10X42" This set up weighs in at just under 2#. My next step up if I wanted to carry my Swaro 15"s I go with my Slik Pro 340EZ and Slik head it Weighs in at 3.5 pounds and does well with the 15's. Will be adding a Jim White pan attachment in the futher If I felt the need for my Swaro spotting scope to go I have to step up to my 4-3/4 pound Jim White head and a Amvona AT-L102 tripod which is a great pod for the money. If I will be glassing from my truck and want to have all my optics set up which is really nice to be able to do I drag out My 8-3/4 # Amvona AT-6703 pod with a Amvona pistol grip head. This thing is rock solid for the scope and for me I have learned to dislike pistol grips for my binos with all the moving you do and I fatique but is real nice for the scope. You can get most of these products from Amandas store. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/tr...ripod_heads.htm and do a goole search for Amvona (Dynatran) Sorry I went beyond the pack set up

I have my pack pod set up and love the JW head. If I had the extra it would no longer be for sale. -
Hope you have a wonderful day.

considering the picture size, it must be one of those micro-breweries making skunky beer in a green bottle The bull is not micro-size however. I wish I had your tact but as you can see I don't

Not real sure where you are heading with this But Team Mullins is a Sponser and a bit more. He has had pictures stolen that have been posted here as someone elses and had another Bull posted without permission or copyrighted that may have the same results. You will see their logo on any picture on this site (or any) and if you have any questions about that I suggest you PM Amanda. Please take no offense as I may have misunderstood you meaning.

GameHauler replied to Hunterjohnny's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I am not a great Coues hunter but may be willing to help if I can. I HAD the same tag this year but have just donated it to http://www.outdoorexperienceforall.org/index.html since I have moved my surgery to Oct 9th. I planned to hunt in the same way with my TC pistol as if bow hunting. If you would like shoot me a PM, I could maybe take a look and give some thought from my observations. I would forget an Eastern drive scenario right now If I am allowed to go on my donated tag hunt I will be doing that but could still go take a look if you would like. -
I just remembered a time when a friend of the group who moved to NM came to Elk camp to spend a few days. His best buddy there Ronnie had gotten up from the camp fire to go talk to his favorite tree and Mike grabbed a log or 6 and put them in his bed in the trailer. I had long since gone to bed when he discovered them. Guess it was quite comical when he found them. Wonder if Lark may have a story or two

I was a victim from a prankster I had never met before. Was going on a bear trip to a spot we had to hike in a ways. I had some room in my pack and this new guy to me asked if I would mind packing a couple of water jugs to which I agreed. I was hot and kinda steep so we would stop, take a little breather and have a drink of water. rather than take my pack off I would just leave it on and they would grab their water jugs and have a drink. Little did I know with my back turned to them they would add a baseball size rock to my pack every time they got the jug out and put it back. I was thinking this hike had kinda kicked my butt but just chalked it up to the beers I had drank the night before. When we got to our destination I slipped my pack off to get settled in and get a drink before we started calling. Boy was I surprised to find what was in my pack thanks to my new found friend. This guy is a gem when it comes to pranks and maybe TJ will tell the story about the muzzle loader and the payback the prankster received
