Funny, I was thinking of making the same type of post Yesterday since I had only replied to a portion of the hunt stories and loved them all. I also wish to congratulate all the successful hunters I did not make a post in. Good job all of you

Internal or external frame? I have had Badlands and they were nice but I like my Eberlestock J105 and also have a medium size Eberlestock that I like too. I used an external for years and worked well till I learned the benefits and comfort of internals. Been thinking I may sell my external since I doubt I will never use it again but should keep it if I get help packing out an Elk by someone without a pack or the kids want to borrow one.

As some of you know I recently won a muzzle (Encore 209X50) It is a used gun and the donor of it still ML hunts and kept all the goodies that go along with owning one. I am looking for recommendations on a good starter kit that would allow me to go to the range and fire my new toy. I order The Modern Muzzle Loader by Sam Fadala and have started reading it as well as a lot of internet reading. Any input is appreciated Thanks

Could be a great tool but like anything else it will be abused. Seems that maybe they could set up some kind of user contract that allows its use for curtain circumstance And the user would be responsible for rescue fees in others. I would also think they could have it to where you could type in a message as to the type of problem and then could receive a return message. Glad they jerked those three idiots of the canyon trail for what they did and hope they make them pay the cost. Them Helos aint cheap to fly and you know who payed for it

I've got news for you Lark: Admitting on a public forum, monitored by G&F, that you shoot wolves, ain't too smart. Sooner or later, they will catch you, especially because you can't keep your mouth shut. Mark, You should know that Lark is just a witty, comical Guy. He may not like allot of what the Dept. does like a lot of us but he does respect the law and would not step outside of it. It was all in fun and funny as heck

Couple of questions: Where are you located? With the over size hinge pin would that mean that the barrel would have to be drilled out? If one wanted to remove the stock extension what would it involve?

Trying to get some input on gun insurance rider. I have to renew my home owners insurance and was thinking maybe I should get a rider for my guns/optics. I do own guns that are registered to me as well as ones not. My concern with the current administration trying to take away the second amendment rights if I listed the Items with my insurance could/would this info be had by the government? Whats ya think?

Is this a youth or adult model? I have my eyes open for a youth model in a similar type model (Rem, Win, what ever) that I can use as a donor rifle for: ODE4All or HOALT since I want to spend my free time helping on these hunts. If anyone has a gun we can put a kid behind and is a shooter and wants to donate or sell it at a great price I will make a donation to CWT for the differance of fair market value & what I got it for. I will also guarantee you if for some reason I fall out of the youth handicapped programs it will belong to them and I will look into if they as an organization can own guns as a group. I have really become active with research on the two programs since i donated my tag a few weeks ago and like most of what I see. Search for yourself but what a great job they are trying to do For our youngster with medical issues that control their lives or may be the last passion they may ever have to enjoy.
