I know something has to be done with the ATV use and am fine with that. What jacks my jaws with their report is the quality of the PDF file they give us. They have the BEST maps of everywhere and just give us a crappy, take for ever PDF to view a smaller image. I looked pretty close at the area I know like the back of my hand and know they have left off a bunch of stuff that WILL be closed. Come on Forest Circus and stop being another pull the wool over our eyes government run lying agency. WE, the hunters dislike the rip it up 100MPH more than you as they screw up our hunts. All we want is to be able to get part way away from the road hunters and then pack in the rest of the way to our favorite little spot. I sure hope they do not stop the use of vehicular travel to recover game but maybe add a clause that if you adversely tear up terrain you could be fined? Very tough subject and I hope all that can will make the meetings.

I have a Badlands 2200 that a local guy said he wanted but have not gotten the green yet if that might interest you. I have to call him tomorrow about working on his trailer so I will ask if he still wants it. Just want to recope my $125.00 investment. Badlands are well built but I like my 2 Eberle's better. I just picked up a BL's Hugh fanny on this site and think I will really like it when I get a chance to try it out.

How does everyone feel about the Flood Control feature the site hoster suggested Amanda put into affect? Read a quick reply on a topic and click new posts and Flood Control comes up Send a PM and have to wait for a while before sending another. Email a topic to a friend or family member and have to wait to send another. If it is a true protector for the site thats fine but have not seen it anywhere else. Amanda it is your site and you do what is best and I am not complaining, just curious of others thoughts.

OUCH Lark If you want a short mag thats fine. If I had a 300 and was looking at the rounds you are I would get at a 7MM-08 (Best mid size round ever made) except for the 7-30 waters maybe, jury still out. A quick look in my loading manuals did not list the short mags but if I recall right the 7MM-08 is about 300 FPS faster than the 7MM WSM. My Girls have taken Javi's, Coues, Antelope and Elk with it in a most efficient manor. Just my $.02 but get your short mag if that is what you want and as said go with the 7MM

I beleive it is. I have seen this on most other forums. It's only 30 seconds I do not think it is 30 seconds here. I never really checked but I think PM's and Email are like 5 minutes. Maybe the posts are at 1 minute.

Jason, Thanks for starting this topic as I am in the same mode as you but have not been able to do the range time this past year with my shoulder. I have done pretty much the same as you with 2 riffles but have added custom stocks and bedded. I also reload and have a ton of bullets to work loads up with to find the best combo. My TC's are calling me out every day but can't yet. I just got done 5 minutes ago mounting a scope on my 22LR Match barrel (23") and will be my practice and back shooting barrel as the shoulder heals. Then the 223 and next the 7MM-08 then 7-30 Waters and my bad boy 7Mag. When I am 100% out comes the 375JDJ in a 14" configuration for next years Bear.
