Customizing a T/C Encore
GameHauler replied to TEAM JESUS's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have a great guy in Payson. My 2 Contenders are so sweet and he has my Encore now. With his prices and quality work it is worth the trip. -
Congratulations on a successful hunt Is that a 68 to 72 3 door/5,barn doors Suburban The trailer is hooked to? We had one and wish I still did. My wife did not like driving it because of the size.

Dude! Find me some small rifle MAGNUM primers while you are down there. Would not prefer CCI but will take at least a thousand of any brand.

Cold Deer! My First Non-Typical
GameHauler replied to RFactor's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I like it. Congratulations -
Daryl, Sorry your Dad is having problems on his hunt. It is hard to say what is going on without seeing it. I have not ran into one not going down just up. The different manufacturers use different lift systems and although I worked on the trailer last year I do not remember much about it. (just another RV to me) I will try to get a hold of my field guy today but I tried Yesterday and think he may still be on his Elk hunt. Shoot me a PM with your Dads cell # and general area he is.

Reloading... Lee vs. RCBS
GameHauler replied to luvdemcoues's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
RCBS is better quality BUT for what you are talking about doing the Lee starter kit will work just fine. I have 3 presses mounted on my bench (Lee, RCBS, Redding) and my Lee is my main press. You can always expand by hitting yard sales if you become more involved in rolling your own. Spend the extra money on a couple more manuals and supplies / accessories. -
Congratulations on another nice Coues When you say she is loading, Do you mean she reloads her own rounds? Thats COOL if so.

With the recent acquisition of a 9MM Luger handgun I am looking for dies, brass and reloading components. Also need a RCBS bullet puller collet. I have some hand loads of unknown origin and will not shoot someone else's loads.

Including 7MM-08

I have been using AVG Free for many years and was happy with it. As of Dec 1st they will not be offering the free addition any longer and are requiring everyone to pay for the service. What upsets me is being forced to pay and refuse to be forced to do anything. Therefore I am looking for a few suggestion on what Anti Virus you guys like. If I have to pay that is fine but refuse to pay AVG.

Not ready to buy today but wanted to put some feelers out. I would like to pick up a beater old Jeep or Land Cruiser, Sameri ect. Heck I may even settle for a old Bronco like Bills I love Amber and will be buried in her: but would like to get a putts around beater cheap for doing some scouting and hunting. Requirements are ugly, cheap, hard top, HEAT ,did I say HEAT and mechanical sound. I may consider refreshing the motor. Let me know if you hear of something. Thanks

For those that use Ron and Marianne Buehring up past the airport They are not taking any animals this Elk season. I was helping Loco4coues Dad get his Bull to them today and were politely turned away. Jeremy, We took that Bull to Toby's Today His wife was very nice.
