Thats my point exactly. Somehow we have to take the time. I just recalled a archery javi I had to finish with a Texas heart shot because of something I saw on TV. Forgot all about that pig Mike

Here is the bull my daughter shot this year. Not as strange as yours Jim, but kind of cool. Hard to see but the back of the base is undercut about half way. Hard to say if he is missing the eye guard or G2 Mike

I have a unit 22 archery bear tag starting next month and could really use some input on how to make this a successful hunt, even if this means directing me towards a different forum. Anyone had this hunt? I will be out scouting this weekend along with my contender encase I happen apon a piggy to fill my HAM tag. Thanks, Mike

http://www.coueswhitetail.com/video_clips/ICAM0005.AVI A lot of the people i have talked to feel there are more bear south of Payson then there are north. I'm not sure I agree. I think people see a lot more south because they can be glassed a lot easier. What do you think???? above is the link to the trail cam video I posted before Mike

Just got off the phone with G.F. Every thing is ok with there system, It is only the server doing the internet service. I asked them to call Amanda so she could post what is going on. And yes I did let her Know how we "the true hunters" feel about the changes One more voice one more time We have got to be a sgueaky door. Mike -

I agree with mattys281 as that is a great starting point then I'll spend a ton of time with my Topo program to try and narrow the unit down. Drawing a sheep tags really makes you have to make the best of your time to scout the unit in the most effective way passable. the game and fish people really can be helpful also. we all know there is only one real way to scout, and that is time in the field. use the crap out of your GPS and take it back to the topo program. I was really able to shrink unit 43a and find my way around. Hope this helps, just my thoughts. Mike -
I'de like some input towards a small pair of binos for sitting in a stand or walking thru the deep woods or on a stalk. My swarovski 10X42 just seem to be to big and in the way while bow hunting.Looking for something like8X25 or 10X30 without paying the swarovski price. Thanks, Mike
