Ruger Charger
GameHauler replied to elpepe25's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Me either but I bought a package deal from my neighbor It came with a super 16 in 223 with a Burris Phamtom and the first time I took it out I was able to do a 1.00 group at 100 off the side of my truck. Got me pumped so I will start looking at options. Maybe next year though. Mike -

Don't post crap like that -
I for one am looking real hard at moving on top of the rim. GF has 22 so screwed up that I will bet you $100.00 someone will be shot this year. They added 265 more tags after adding I think 200 the year before. In 2 years there will not be an Elk to be found. Mike

Does range time include skull plate aiming T. Ruble

I am sure there will be older hunters then Jim but I would like to take a little space here to say Solong to a man that went on my Sheep hunt. He was a true sportsman, hunter, camp cook, and awsome behind a spotting scope. I think he is the only man in Az history to draw 3 Desert Sheep tags. Jim Barrett Passed this past year at 73 and is missed by all who met him. Thanks again Jim, Mike Front row, far right God, What an ugly crew I had

Cool Thing Happened While Pig Hunting

Well Troy it sounds like with each outing you are learning there is a lot more to hunting than pulling a trigger. Cool thing to get to see. Since TJHUNT2 has not been around I will say it. (Write it Down) Those are the kind of things you forget, maybe forever or something may trigger it 30 years from now. Wouldn't it be cool for your Son (or Daughter) to some day be able to read about all the cool stuff you have seen and done as you grew up. Thanks for posting Mike -
With all the researce I have been doing on this as of late I can explaine it. $$$$

Here is my best hunting friend ever. Len is over 70 but I do not know for sure. We have hunted together for the last 15? years. He is a great hunter and has done so well with the things that ail us older folks. Len had a heart attact coming out off a setup and his boys found him in time for him to enjoy many more years of hunting. What a TROOPER. Maybe we can get his son (TJHUNT2) to add to this. Thank You Leonard Mike GREAT Idea Amanda

Then why do you have a 6.5X20 and a 6X16 Tim?? Have you ever had a problem with to much low end power? Mike
-
I would say if you had a blood trail coming out of your unit it would not be an issue.

I took another good look at the Ziess. The problem with them is that I want at least a 16 power top end and no more than a 5 MAX lower end They have a 4.5-14 or a 6-20 Just does not fit my needs Nikon has the 5-20X44 that I think would fill my needs better. Anyone got a better idea, I am all ears. I just want to be able to make a CLEAN shot at 600yds if I HAVE to. Yes I will do a ton of practice. That is why I want it built as soon as possable Casey. And I am also looking for reloading eguipment. Thanks, Mike
