I use the moultrie rechargeable batteries and their charger. When I checked mine last week after a cloudy week and not a lot of sun where it is located my battery was at 99% Headed out within the hour to check it again when (if) second Girl shows up.

I noticed how you refer to the piece of land as "my site". Is it privatly owned property by you? If it's public land why do you believe you have the right to claim it's use? When I scout out a good area and happen to stumble upon a camera I by no means consider it unhuntable area. I would check to make sure I didn't wonder onto private land. Regardless, it's sad to hear that someone had the nerve to mess with your camera (assuming it didn't just malfunction on it's own). Maybe I'll go post a camera in front of TD's Topless Showclub. Does that make the joint mine? JK! Grandma just pulled the half cooked brownies out of the oven and threw them in the TRASH

I don't have the most secure system for locking up my cameras but it will keep the honest people honest. I do not know what camera you have but I can run a padlock threw the camera so the door can not be opened without busting it all to crap. Glad you did not loose your cam but may want to find a way so skum can not open it. I have bought a bunch of Really cheep cameras to put up on the most likely trails into my spots to try and catch the skum when they least expect it. Cost me a buck or two but if I can have one piece of crap busted it will be worth it.
